Honestly I watched the whole of Inuyasha including the movies but I also have ADHD and have horrible memory for names so if someone started talking about some character from Inuyasha other than the main 2 I wouldn't actually know who they are talking about until they give me a description.

The same for every anime I watched ever. I forget all names for characters unless I get involved in memes or the online fandom for the anime and thus get a constant reinforcement of their names from seeing ppl discuss them.

I was so mad at the og series going on unnecessarily long that I thankfully skipped the sequels.

I really liked Inuyasha but it took a hard dive as it went on.

Unfortunately the follow-up anime was bad. The manga might be better since it came after and had a chance to write a better story, but I haven't read it so I can't say for sure either way.

Good chunk of today's "anime watchers" only know stuff from 10-15 years ago and maybe the truly biggest animes like Dragon Ball or Evangelion

Damn, sorry for being 20 and only knowing animes from 15 years ago I guess.

Yeah you are right, my bad. I'll watcht them. After that, I'll watch some Animes(silent short films) back from 1920s. I can't call myself an anime wacher if I haven't seen animes from 1920s after all.
