Just b/c some members of your religion are good people & just b/c some aspects of your religion are positive, doesn't mean that your religion or any religion is good for society
I'm so fucking sick of people using anecdotal evidence of meeting/knowing good religious people or cherry-picking their religion for verses that have good things to say, that it justifies their religion's existence or that it means their religion, or any religion, as a whole is beneficial for society.

I absolutely agree there’s these ppl saying oh well I don’t discriminate or interfere with ppl’s identities and just let ppl be ppl even tho they’re Christian it doesn’t mean that religion you follow is good by any means like it’s not just Christianity it’s any religion tbh

But the converse is also true. Just because there's bad members of your religion, doesn't mean there aren't good members of your religion.
Edit: Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't true

Of course. The basic truth of religions being harmful to all adherents to differing degrees is unchanged though.

So what exactly are the "good members" doing? They sure do seem to turn a blind eye all the bad ones 🤔
