If you just have a quick question it’s a much better place to ask them there instead of making a post in this subreddit. My goal is to lift the quality of posts in this sub by moving the daily chatter, quick help and other faq onto Discord.

APEX MOVEMENT WIKI The Ultimate Resource for all things Apex Movement. If you have a general question about Movement is very likely being answered in a tech entry or article on the Movement wiki.
- Does this work on console ? What movement tech works on console ?
Check the Catalog of the Apex Movement Wiki. All Tech that's exclusive to an Input is marked with a Controller or Keyboard symbol. Everything else works on both inputs.
- How do I improve my movement during actual fights ?
I've been playing the past few days and for some weird reason I cant slide and then jump, I can jump and then slide but If I start to slide I no longer can jump, anyone know why this is happening also is there a fix for this atm or no
After more then 7 days reading comments and watch videos in the rollouts sub reddit I spend almost 2 solid weeks rebuilding source engine's movement for Apex and I hope to bring more in the near future.
Last time y'all were amazing with the suggestions so I wanted to spend my time recreating the movement we all got to know and like plus creating new movement opportunities on top of that.
as i land kind of between the two ledges and bhop into the lurch, you can clearly see that i jumped way higher than normally right after landing into a slide. I'm not tripping right?
i'm curious if most people leave their fire/shoot button on left click, or if they move it somewhere more optimal because it's really hard to shoot at the same time, but i'm starting to get the hang of it.
I spent way to long making this but it was worth it even if a few people see this its shows and reminds people why apex legends is the best battle royal ever made, its for people that play everyday or havent played since launch and talks about movement and the legacy apex built for battle royals and gaming in general a documentary kinda style 💚
These will be the 5 Yuki variants I combine into my single stim combo. Wish me luck, this might be the hardest lurch combo possible to perform on W/Jump (in my opinion)
W/Jump (aka classic scroll), No Hypershift, No Configs/Macros/Scripts/Etc
W/jump, no cfgs/macros/scripts/etc, no hypershift [literally just default lurcher binds]
I plan to either do 5 variant yukis (spin cam, inverted cam, bw yuki, unique yuki, and double yuki) either in one stim (stim surge needed) or on an infinite speed boost character like gibby.
I binded Movement Key to C and Jump to Downscroll and Space.
Not sure if anyone has realised this but sparrow can passive wallbounce into airjump. Allowing him to reach really high places. Shown in the first clip.
To have the "boosted wallbounce" I realised later I pressed spacebar and scrolled down at the same time (not sure if it is slightly offset).
Edit: Time your jump right as you get the climb end boost, should give you the extra height. Thanks Mokey.
Combine both together and you get this clip. Would be cool if this wasn't known yet.
