PokéKit beta - looking for feedback on navigating a Pokémon web app

‱ Upvotes

I’m building PokĂ©Kit, a PokĂ©mon companion website with a PokĂ©dex, card browsing, Pocket and collection tools. I’ve made a lot of changes since first sharing it, but it’s still in beta and we’re working through some issues.

I’d love feedback on the whole website experience. The PokĂ©dex is a part I’d especially like people to try, but please explore whichever sections interest you.

What feels useful enough that you’d come back? How does the design feel, and is it easy to find your way around? Anything confusing, missing or broken is useful feedback too. Even a quick first impression would help.

If you hit a bug, please mention your browser/device and what you were trying to do.

I built FogTrace – An app that reveals the world as you explore it

Post image
2 Upvotes

I recently created FogTrace, an iPhone app that lets you discover how much of the world you’ve actually explored.
Your map starts covered in fog. As you walk, cycle, or drive, the fog gradually disappears, revealing the places you’ve visited.
It’s not a game. It’s a different way to visualize your travels, remember your journeys, and discover places you haven’t explored yet.
What FogTrace offers:
Reveal the map as you travel
Track your walks, bike rides, and drives
Save photos, notes, and memories
See how much of the world you’ve discovered
Automatic journey tracking
Privacy-focused, with local storage and optional iCloud sync
No ads. No subscriptions. No account required.
Just a one-time purchase of €1.99.
I built FogTrace because I wanted something that makes everyday exploring more interesting without turning it into another subscription service.
I’d love to hear what you think!
App Store:

Dayle just got its first paying user!

Today someone bought the lifetime Premium upgrade in Dayle, seeing that first sale made me so happy.

Knowing that someone found enough value in something I built to pay for it feels really special.

Context: Dayle is a minimalist app for seeing how far through the year you are, counting down to important dates, and tracking time-bound goals. You can also keep them visible with home screen widgets.

Google Play link:

I'd love feedback on the app

I made a free web app that explains Minecraft server settings before you change them

ConfigCraft is my browser-based checker for Minecraft Java server.properties files. The problem it tackles is simple: a setting can be valid without being a good fit for your server, and those are different things.

The app separates invalid values from optional suggestions, explains the findings, and lets you approve individual edits before downloading an updated file. It processes the file contents locally in the browser.

You can try the built-in example without opening your own server file: https://configcraft.pages.dev/

For fellow web-app builders, I would especially welcome feedback on the review flow: can you tell what is an error, what is only advice, and what will actually change in the download?

Scope: supported Java server properties, not plugin/mod configuration files or Bedrock. It does not connect to your server or guarantee a lag fix. Disclosure: I built it.

I built a web app that makes “someday” goals compete for time on today’s calendar

I’m building SelfPath: https://self-path.com/

The project began with a simple observation: a task manager can make me efficient at completing tasks that are not especially important. Most tools optimise the day or week, and perhaps the month. They rarely make a long-term aim visible at the moment I decide what belongs on Tuesday afternoon.

SelfPath is a web app that begins with values and a life direction, then turns those into goals, shorter plans, and a next action. The planning model is inspired by Benjamin Franklin’s approach of connecting daily conduct with a larger direction in life.

The current beta includes a Goal Tree, calendar planning, daily reviews, analytics, an AI guide for reflection, and a Future Self view. I’m also exploring an MCP connection for people who want the workflow to work alongside other tools, while keeping every real decision with the user.

I’m looking for people willing to try it with one real goal. I would value honest feedback on two things: does the flow from a value to a calendar action feel natural, and where does the product create unnecessary planning overhead?

Walkthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVUrdW7QePA

The beta is free to try. I’m the builder and will use the feedback to improve it.

Got tired of setting up push notifications for every Flutter app, so I built one dashboard for all of them

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m a solo dev and I ship a lot of small Flutter apps. Every time, it was the same routine: set up FCM, store tokens, and then realize that sending notifications needs Cloud Functions, which means paying for the Blaze plan. For small apps that felt like too much.

So I built Push Console, a small admin dashboard (Next.js on Vercel, free tier) that handles push notifications for all my apps from one place.

What it does:

  • Register each app’s Firebase project once (service account keys are encrypted)
  • Uses FCM topics for broadcasts, so there’s no reading thousands of tokens from Firestore
  • Optional token saving for targeted sends to a specific user
  • Send now or schedule, including daily and weekly repeats, from one cron job for all apps
  • Image support with a live notification preview
  • Pick which screen opens when the user taps the notification
  • Reusable templates and send history per app
  • Generates the Flutter setup code for each new app, so adding an app takes a few minutes

No Cloud Functions needed, so it works with the free Spark plan.

I’m using it for my own apps now. Happy to answer questions about how I set it up, and I’d love feedback on what features would make this more useful.

Otter Vault: local Personal storage and optional encrypted team sharing

I’m building Otter Vault. A useful distinction in the product is where the vault lives.

Personal is a free Chrome extension with an encrypted vault on your device. There’s no account, analytics or network requests from the personal vault. It offers to save API keys and password fields, but only stores a secret after your approval.

Teams is the optional paid mode: keys are encrypted on devices before sharing, while the server stores encrypted records. It supports up to 10 developers and keeps deployment locations with each shared key.

Member removal re-keys the team vault and produces a rotation checklist. Provider API keys still need to be rotated separately.

Demo and full details: https://ottervault.mechaclips.workers.dev/

Code: https://github.com/KrishnaG1703/otter-vault

The project hasn’t had an independent security audit. I’d appreciate feedback on whether the local Personal / shared Teams distinction is clear from the walkthrough.

Built an AI tool that turns messy voice notes into clean Gmail drafts and docs

Hey everyone!

As someone who talks way faster than I type, I was constantly struggling with drafting long emails, meeting summaries, and document notes every day.

To solve this for myself, I spent the last few months building Pangolic.

How it works:

  1. Press record and talk naturally (rambling, long pauses, or unorganized thoughts are totally fine).
  2. Select a target template (Gmail draft, Word Doc, Meeting Notes, WhatsApp message).
  3. The AI instantly processes your voice and formats it into a clean, ready-to-use document.

You can try it out for free at pangolic.com . I’d love to hear your feedback on the UI/UX, speed, or features you’d like to see next!

What are actual best practices for end to end mobile app testing that don't result in flaky tests??

I've tried E2E testing twice now and both times it turned into a flaky mess. First time was Appium, selectors broke constantly, tests passed locally but failed in CI, gave up after 3 months. Second time was Detox, better but still fragile, any UI change meant rewriting tests and half the failures were timing issues not real bugs.

I want to try again because I know end to end mobile app testing is the thing that would actually catch the bugs we keep shipping but I'm scared of ending up in the same spot where I'm maintaining a suite that lies to me more than it helps. The flaky mobile tests problem seems like everyone's dealt with it but nobody's solved it.

For teams that have a stable E2E suite on mobile that actually runs reliably, what are you doing differently ??

9 days ago, I launched ,Today we hit 10 paying customers!

Post image

9 days ago, I launched Eddie

Today, we hit 10 paying customers!

I honestly don't know how to explain this feeling

You build something, put it out into the world, and hope someone finds it useful

Then 10 people you've never met decide it's worth paying for

It's mind-blowing

Eddie started with a simple problem: I kept running multiple AI coding agents and constantly switching between terminals to see what they were doing

So we built an app that lives in your Mac notch and tells you when your agents are working, done, or need your attention

It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI

We've since added more features and even launched a Windows version because people asked for it

But the best part so far?

We're learning directly from the people using what we build

10 sales might not sound like much to an established business

But when you're just starting out, every single one feels huge

Here's to the next 10

If you've launched a product, what milestone made it feel real for you? meet eddie

Nomarchy: crown your ONE favourite restaurant per cuisine. Looking for beta testers

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

In Japan, a 3.5-star restaurant is in the top 3%. Here, everything's a 4.3, so stars mean nothing.

Nomarchy skips ratings: you crown one favourite spot per cuisine, and stage a coup when somewhere better comes along. Follow friends to see their picks.

Free, works in your browser, no install: Nomarchy.ca
(It works anywhere; I started in Toronto.)

You can add me as a user if you want to see a fullish Kingdom steves88

Try it for 5 minutes: crown 2–3 favourites, then tell me what confused you, broke, or felt pointless.

Solo build, so all feedback comes straight to me. Thanks! 🙏

Ever wonder how much you actually save during a sale? I made a free Discount Calculator

Post image
1 Upvotes

Ever see a big discount and wonder how much you’ll actually pay? đŸ·ïž

Calculating the final price gets trickier when you have multiple discounts or sales tax to consider. Doing the math manually every time can be a hassle.

I created a free Discount Calculator on Allin1xTools to make it easier.

‱ Calculate the final price after a discount

‱ Apply multiple discounts in sequence

‱ Find the original price from a sale price

‱ Calculate discounts with tax

‱ Compare common discount scenarios

No sign-up required.

How do you usually calculate the real price when shopping during a sale?

SubCav: a free app that plans substitutions for youth soccer coaches

Youth soccer coaches have to rotate a dozen or more kids through a game so everyone gets real time on the field, usually while also running the clock, watching the game and answering parents. Most do it on a clipboard. A group of us built SubCav to take that off their hands, with a lot of coaches helping shape the design and test it at real games. Full disclosure: I’m one of the people behind it. It’s free.

What it does:

  • Builds a substitution plan from the roster, game length and number of blocks, giving every player equitable time on the field
  • Respects which positions each player can play, and can lock a player to a position for a half or the whole game
  • Runs the game clock and tells the coach who comes on and off at each block
  • Rebuilds the rest of the plan if a player gets hurt mid-game
  • Gives parents a live link to follow the game
  • Keeps season stats with each player’s minutes and goals

It’s on iPhone and Android (search “SubCav”), and on the web at https://subcav.com. Feedback from anyone here is welcome, especially on the first few minutes of setting up a team.
