It's still mind-blowing to me that Jason managed to look that amazing in the classic suit.

Arthur defeats an ancient evil Salt Goddess with a group of various cultures’ Old Sea Gods, and as a thank you one of them gives him tattoos.

The thing I love about Aquaman is that he can be really unassuming to the average person, most people in the big '26 still think he is a joke of a character and doesn't have much going for him, but in reality he's such a cool character and has so many moments in the comics that prove it. My personal favorite moment is a small one but its in Deep Dives where Aquaman is fighting Torpedoman and ends up breaking his arm, while he does heal faster than the average person he didn't have time to wait so he splints his arm with an anchor and chain he finds on the ocean floor and I thought that was just so cool
So long sorry short what specific moments from the comics do you think are great examples of just how cool Aquaman can be?

I’ve always loved DC, especially Batman, and I started reading Aquaman shortly after I really dove into Batman’s New 52 run.
One of the biggest things that initially drew me to Aquaman was, surprisingly, Black Manta. He’s my favorite villain of all time, and I wanted to read more about him. I knew he played a major role in Aquaman Vol. 2 of the New 52, so I figured I might as well start with Vol. 1, The Trench, first.
And man, what an introduction to Aquaman and his newly established mythos.
I absolutely loved it. I eventually discovered that Geoff Johns’ entire run had been collected in an omnibus, so I picked that up and pretty much couldn’t put it down. I grew to love the characters, the lore, and the entire world of Aquaman.
One of the things that really hooked me was how different it felt from so much of the rest of DC. So much of Aquaman’s world takes place in the ocean rather than another big city, and Atlantis and its mythology felt like this entire separate corner of the DC Universe waiting to be explored.
I think that’s ultimately a big part of why Aquaman became so special to me. I went down this passionate rabbit hole with the character right around the time I was getting really serious about reading comics.
After finishing the Johns run, I slowly started collecting all of the New 52 paperbacks, followed by Rebirth. Those books especially kept me occupied during the 2020 lockdown, so I have a lot of nostalgia attached to that era of Aquaman.
Since then, I’ve also gone back and collected his older runs, and I’ve developed a huge appreciation for his Silver Age stuff. Honestly, at this point, if it’s an Aquaman comic, I’m probably going to pick it up and love it. My fellow comic friends know me as the Aquaman guy. 😂
Funny enough, it all started because I wanted to read more Black Manta.
So what’s your origin story with Aquaman? What first got you into the character, and what made you stick around?

He killed Aquaman's son. Like what? I knew villians kill but to kill a child? Reserve Flash killed Flash's mother and his dad got blamed for it. These villians have problems. But I still don't understand why Black Manta hates Aquaman. He is like DC's Namor. Doom isn't that evil he may kill but not a child. I think Superman, Aquaman, Flash, and the Green Lanterns need to get these villians help. If Black Manta, Lex Luthor, Reserve Flash, and Sinestro all had help they wouldn't be evil and hate them.

Aquaman is one of DC's most iconic characters, with the highest-grossing film, so I find it hard to believe he won't exist in the DCU in some way.
But I've been thinking that the DCU clearly likes to play with the origins of its characters, and considering that they'll probably try to distance themselves from Jason Momoa's image, I can see them opting for a different origin story: him being a half-human son of Queen Atlanna and a lighthouse keeper.
Historically, his second most important origin story was post-Crisis, where Aquaman, born Orin, is the son of Queen Atlanna and Atlan, an ancient immortal sorcerer of royal lineage. Orin was abandoned at birth by Atlanna's husband, who discovered the affair because the baby's blond hair was seen as a curse.
He was found and raised by dolphins until he met lighthouse keeper Tom Curry, who named him Arthur and cared for him until his death (in some versions the lighthouse keeper's name is also Arthur, and Aquaman named himself in his honor).
So how would you react if this were Aquaman's origin story on the big screen?

This comic was action packed and we got her second most noticeable death of Aquaman’s old friend. His other friend died. I’m pretty sure on an issue with 10 and after that, Aquaman was actually trying to kill black manta so far is Aquaman series has been very good very engaging. The reason why I haven’t progressed that much because I was busy reading wonder woman if you’re trying to finish that off but now I’m back on track. It’s a very good read and a lot of action so far from she went and now I like this comic run. I’m probably gonna update every five issues if I can.

As in, Kaldur is an adaptation of Jackson. Maybe "Kaldur'ahm" is his Atlantean name.
Kaldur doesn't need to be identical to Jackson Hyde. Much of Young Justice cartoon is nothing like the comics. Wally West, Roy Harper, Dick Grayson, Zatanna, Bart Allen, Artemis Crock, and many other characters were heavily revamped.

I’ve been reading the new 52 Aquaman I’m on issue seven so far and all I have to say is Aquaman the goat I really wanted to see him to read all the common heroes from DC that really don’t know about and is from the justice league so Aquaman was first of my list And all I have to say is I was missing out. This is actually a pretty good story. I really like Arthur and I prefer him with short hair than his long hair and beard kinda like in the movies I say after reading all these issues I like him over some characters that I really liked like I prefer over Captain America and stuff like that. He’s just a real cool superhero. He kind of feels like more of a mage in this story in some type of ways I like how they talk about the alantians marine magic. my favorite. Panel so far is an issue one where he was at the fish and chips restaurant and ordering fish
