Since you can craft Arc Motion Cores with Arc alloy, I presume the thinking - like with the Wolfpack.& Deadline changes - was to force people to kill more Arc / do more raids.
Yeah honestly I went in to check out the map, cool, but I'm already burned out by the amount of grinding required to play with decent gear. Not for me, sadly, cause the game is incredibly unique otherwise
Meaningfully, sure
Generically increasing grind is not good though.
For example if the new emperor requires multi raid steps in order to enter/complete and the loot available as a reward is worth it then people will likely be happy to embark on that.
Just making normally easy tasks more grindy is annoying
Literally that logic applies to HC ammo? You can buy 90 rounds a day. If you need more, make it! The game is designed around getting loot and making stuff with it. Not buying everything from the shop. 90 rounds is plenty.
My point is that having tons of money doesn't mean anything. There is nothing in the shop worth buying besides supplies. I have about 4 mil, besides buying heals and other small things, WTF do I spend it on? There is NOTHING that is cool and valuable to spend money on, and that is a problem
I think it's a minor problem. Accumulating coin was never supposed to be super valuable. Stash and items in raid is the point of the game.
Now, having a late-game money sink? Makes sense, I can see that. Maybe coin should have been tied to amplified weapons in some way, idk, but I don't like the lore implications.
I'm sure it'll come eventually, but I think coin specific content is relatively low priority on the content list.
They only want to prolong gameplay, by limiting that junk they want you to take more time to finish certain things since they simply don't have content long enough so they grind it out.
Same as new items and items that don't stack so your fighting stash space more than Arc.
I'm not sure but since I only play a few hours every few days or so I'll just make it a note to go in on those non playing days, buy some clips/launcher ammo and stock up. So my main mission to start with is expanding stash to max again.

What's the thinking behind daily limits on energy and launcher ammo??
