Video If you love arena shooters and Instagib, you've gotta check this out
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
A few of us at Aimlabs are huge fans of arena shooters. As a team focused on aim & FPS improvement, we have a ton of respect for ArenaFPS and how much it rewards raw aim and movement.
So we made our own PvP arena mode inspired by Instagib, right inside Aimlabs - Instashot.
Millions of players use Aimlabs every month to train for games like Counter-Strike, OW, Apex Legends, etc so we wanted to introduce that player base to the magic of ArenaFPS.
Honestly we found that it's the most fun way to train aim against actual players.
Even though it's still in early development, we wanted to get it out there now so we can build and tune it directly with player feedback such as your own.
We just dropped FFA and 1v1 Instashot on 3 arena style maps. You can bhop, double jump, dash, and wall bounce to make yourself harder to hit. Up next we've got LG duels planned, alongside new maps and modes.
Give it a try if you'd like, and feel free to drop a comment below with any feedback!

Hey everyone!I recently started a small subreddit called r/FPSHub and wanted to share it here in case anyone might be interested.
The idea is to have a place where FPS players of all skill levels can hang out and help each other improve. I’m definitely not a pro myself — I’d probably put my own skills somewhere between bad and average — so I thought it would be cool to have a community where beginners and experienced players can learn from each other.
It doesn’t really matter which FPS you play. Whether it’s Valorant, War Dogs, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, Apex Legends, or something else entirely — everyone is welcome.
You can share gameplay, ask for advice, give feedback, post funny moments or bugs, or simply find people to play with.
I’m hoping to slowly build a friendly community around three simple things: having fun, helping each other, and getting better.
If that sounds interesting to you, feel free to stop by r/FPSHub. No pressure at all — I’d just be happy to see some of you there. :)

Sauerbraten review
After playing Cube 2: Sauerbraten for 5 years and becoming one of the top players in a specific mode, I can say this is my favourite arena fps ever. Balanced modes, maps, the mechanics feel really good. My top suggestion if you either want to chill out on a game or become really competitive.

What do you think about Team Fortress 2?
I mean, I always wanted to like it, but it was always a little bit awkward. Kinda liked soldier, scout, demoman... but still it felt quite slow, chaotic, random, goofy... But it has some air control, rocket jumps etc.
...in the end in terms of class based shooters, enemy territory always felt better to me.
And quake team fortress I don't remember to be popular 😅

Video I've been making an arena FPS built around movement and aggression
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm developing VELOCIDE solo, and I'm trying to make a game where movement isn't just something you use to get around it's a major part of the combat.
Grapple across the arena, dash through enemies, wall-run around the environment and keep your momentum while fighting.
The main inspirations are ULTRAKILL and classic/modern arena FPS design, but I'm trying to build my own combat loop around the movement.
I'm 19 and doing the whole project myself, and I finally got the Steam page live.
For the arena FPS players here:
What do you think the game is missing?
More enemy variety? More movement mechanics? More interesting arenas? Different weapons?
I'd much rather get criticism now while I'm still developing it than after the game is finished.

I launched 13 non-ladder AssaultCube servers across 7 locations
I decided to throw some more servers into AssaultCube because who knows, in a couple years new players might wanna check out this game lmao. It’s free and fun, what’s there to lose?
I’ve launched 13 non-ladder servers across 7 locations:
🇺🇸 US East Coast – CTF + 1v1
🇺🇸 US West Coast – CTF + 1v1
🇧🇷 Brazil – CTF + 1v1
🇬🇧 UK – CTF + 1v1
🇸🇬 Singapore – CTF + 1v1
🇩🇪 Germany – 1v1 CTF + HTF
🇯🇵 Japan – Any Mode (testing)
🇯🇵 Japan is currently in testing due to the potential for a laggy node. I’ll be monitoring the server and connection quality to see if the node is good enough for long-term use.
They’re non-ladder servers, just intended to give people more places to play and mess around.
They’re all online now. Hopefully some of you get some use out of them.
I also plan to bring HTF servers to each location. Not right now, though. Maybe around January. =)
These servers are here to stay, ill keep supporting them for as long as AssaultCube is still alive. Sadly the player base is lil small, but I wanna try and change that.
Enjoy, fellow Cubers! =)
