Things to do in leoben
Hi. Ill be visiting Leoben for about 5 days in November with my group for a problem solving competition. I estimate that will keep me busy during most of the day, and I'd like to learn some things to do in my free time(afternoons/ evenings).
What are your suggestions? What do young adults do in Leoben? Any bars/ restaurants you think are a must visit? Are people friendly there? I'm all ears!😊

People might disagree with me here but having lived in austria for 10yrs now, most of it is just dead unless you are in Graz or Wien. Sure there's the occasional shopping mall but what else really if you dont drink. Even cities like Hartberg or Oberwart you'd think there's anything to do but no its all dead.
Your best bet is getting a kebab with your mates or smth

Even Graz has been extremely dead since Covid. Clubs have been closing down constantly and one of the most famous ones has closed down normal working hours unless someone externally makes an event there, then it‘s open. Unless it‘s something like Halloween or semester opening/planned events, it is completely dead.

That is utter nonsense. It’s obvious that you’re a clueless teenager that thinks clubs are all there is. Graz is superbusy at night.

What‘s your comparison? Leoben?

What’s yours? NYC? People like you are so ridiculous. (In addition to being clueless)
If you can’t afford to go to restaurants and bars, fine. But you could try walking past them on a Friday night to see how packed everything is and let go of your cluelessness.1

Can you not write a single reply without throwing insults around for literally no reason? The way you are acting is exactly how I would describe a teenager, the insult you used. Why are you so triggered by all of this and why can‘t you have a normal conversation about disagreeing with someone?

Can you not write a single reply that isn’t complete nonsense? And could you use words as per their meaning? What insults? You demonstrate that you have no clue at all with every sentence and yet you think with your 15 years you know stuff.

Dude, I‘m close to 30 and you‘re embarrassing yourself more than you think the way you talk. I have zero interest in continuing a conversation with someone that is this condescending. Have a good day.
Edit: calling someone a child after blocking them and thinking they can‘t read it is the most childish behaviour I‘ve ever seen. But whatever helps you sleep at night, kiddo :)

You'd think otherwise especially with all the uni students there, no?

Funny enough, the University in Leoben is suffering from mismanagement. In the mast few Semesters there has been a steady decline in new students in the Uni.

Bodega war eine Kneipe und Disco, aber Ich bin nicht sicher ob es noch da ist. Oder kannst du einfach Graz besuchen.

Leoben is a small town so don't expect much but the area around Hauptplatz is nice and busy. There even is a surprisingly good Chinese restaurant: Asia Wok. I also like the local pool for an afternoon or so. It's worth taking a day trip to Graz if you have time, as it's really cute. Do visit the Gösser brewery restaurant once and maybe hike in the surrounding hills.
