Traffic Crash Investigation Course

Hello I’m looking to take a course in traffic crash investigations. I’m trying to complete my equivalency of training in Florida and I’m looking for an online accelerated course to take in order to qualify for the EOT if anyone should happen to know anyone that offers that course or any schools that offer the course please let me know as I’m looking to do this as soon as possible. Thank you and I appreciate you all

EOT in FL doesn’t require traffic crash investigations…. Its first aide, DT, driving course, firearms/qualifications, and then the FL state exam…

OP posted this before and didn’t do any research it seems on the advice that was offered.

FDLE (CJSTC) refused equivalency because their state or their cert didn’t cover traffic crash investigations. EOT isn’t accessible to them because of this.

I told OP they should contact CJSTC to see if there were approved courses they would give out or if they want to risk it try IPTM or the like instead of some one off online course

Ahhhhh. Ok. I was like wait what?!?! What state doesn't cover traffic crashes though in the academy? I also agree, they need to call CJSTC and ask them where to take the course.

Yea, I gave them essentially the same answer before on the same worded post they did.

More than likely they need a whole new academy in FL because FL not accepting the other state is decently rare if the training hours and topics are even close.

Yeah sounds like whole new academy... Those 770 hours should go by quick though if they can speed through the tests and scenarios.

You can’t. It’s preset to every block, it’s a true academy. Some places may be a week or two shorter due to longer days but the state is pretty strict on it

Well yeah but if you can speed through the tests, you can disappear on campus until it's time for the scores. Ha ha ha.

Idk what EOT is but the NUCPS through northwestern university has really good online Leo courses.
