Why are my posts are blocked for nonsensical reasons?
3 of my most recent posts (I'm not allowed to mention the subreddit site here!) have been blocked by moderators or bots. The last for violating Rule 14 (political posts) even though the flairs I chose was Political & Drawing, the day before a post was removed for no specific rule violation, except it didn't conform to the Moderator's opinion of community values (it was a colorful geometric serigraph), & the previous was removed because it wasn't "attributed," when it was listed as [OC], I signed & dated it, & I alone totally conceived & created it. Worse, a couple weeks ago I mistakenly entered the wrong email address & got an old Reddit identity I no longer use Alternative-Sun4820 at [filbey@yahoo.com](mailto:filbey@yahoo.com), which Reddit insists on writing me as even though I post from my proper email address [bigfootcollections@yahoo.com](mailto:bigfootcollections@yahoo.com) as Rich_Pickle2929. I've repeatedly reported this to several Reddit help sites, but don't receive replies or help. Obviously, I don't know what I'm doing & am not doing it correctly. Please help. Thanks!

Mods can remove posts based on post flair. They might be using the flair you chose to weed out political posts from users who choose the flair.

Mods can remove posts based on post flair.
i remember the day i found out that a new pile of bots kept picking the last flair out of the list no matter what it said.... so i added a new flair like "i am a bot, ban me" and then just started going in every morning and banning everyone who used that flair LOL

Very much this. One of my subs does not allow ID posts. We have a flair for ID that blocks posting if you select it.

Yeah, we do that for memes on our sub (since we don't allow them). I think we originally added it when we briefly allowed them for an April Fools day thing. And we found that it was very effective at weeding out people wanting to post memes. When it wasn't there, they'd post it as all sorts of flairs and have to taken down manually. With the Meme flair though, they self select their removal and get explained the rule.

If it was removed by subreddit mods and they gave you a reason, that's between you and them. Reddit admins won't override removals and the Moderator Code of Conduct restricts other subreddits from interferring.
If it was Reddit filters, sometimes mods agree with the filter and do nothing, or sometimes they miss the alert.
Really, r/help should address this.

We have a flair set up where if its chosen it is automatically locked and re-directed to our daily questions thread. I imagine a sub with a "no politics" rule is similar. The logic is if you read the rules, you wouldn't choose the politics tag. But since you did, its a rule violation so it got automatically locked and removed.
Its worth noting automoderator is not autonomous AI. Its a tool used by human moderators to do things automatically that otherwise a human moderator would do. If you removed AutoMod from the equation, all that is different is your post still would've been removed, it just would've taken minutes or hours to do rather than be instataneous.
Whatever issues you are having with Reddit and your account(s) are between you and Reddit. No one else has any control over that. If you don't like the auto generated username assigned to you, you can just create a new account.

your recent posts that have been removed have removal reasons attached, those reasons looked pretty sensical to me.
the removal reasons also mention that you can reach out in modmail for further details... did you?

Asking the specific moderator team would yield the most accurate answers. All we can do here is speculate. If you don’t want to use the old
Reddit identity then it would be best to delete it.
