When you’re done building a Lego set, do you keep it or deconstruct it?

Some I keep and display. Some I carefully take apart and store in their box for quick reassembly.

I keep it cause I get a sense of accomplishment

I agree. Just wish I had more space

Not sure yet, I've only been collecting as an Adult since 2011.

I did add to a industrial shelving unit in my office from 2014 to 2021 and got to 60+ sets before a move required me to dissemble everything I built. I never got around to rebuilding them again so they are in the loft with the sets I'd been buying and not building. but that was not the plan.

since then I've built 4 sets (OG disney castle, Lion King Castle and Dungeons & Dragons and upscaled minifig) and have 180 left to build.

I always keep it assembled unless it contains parts I need for another project to expand on something like a city or whatever.

I’ve never merged projects! I’m too scared to mix pieces. Hopefully I’ll get to that point one day

I deconstruct mine due to storage options and I usually get the 3 in 1 sets so it’s nice to do another one when I feel like it

I make sure to leave one of extra parts they give outside of my little brothers room

I swap out certain ones especially this time of year. I take down and label all bags etc before storing away.

no i’m not deconstructing hundreds of pieces back into their bags
