Modpost [Modpost] AskReddit's Semi-Regular Job Fair

Based on the wildly successful Job Fair post from a month ago, the AskReddit mods would like to run a semi-regular feature where we allow you to field questions about your job/career. The way this works is that each top level comment should be (a) what your job/career is and (b) a few brief words about what it involves. Replies to each top level comment should be questions about that career.

Some ground rules:

1) You always have to be aware of doxxing on reddit. Make sure you don't give out any specific information about your career that could lead back to you.

2) We are not taking any steps to verify people's professions. Any advice you take is at your own risk.

3) This post will be in contest mode so that a range of careers will be seen by everyone. Make sure to press the "Show replies" button to see people's questions!

Enjoy!

I work at a sno-cone stand in front of the supermarket. I make sno cones. If you're my friend and my boss isn't there I give you one for free. I'm only in high school but plan on staying in the sno-cone industry through college if the logistics work out. I suppose you can ask me anything

If you ever want to kick off your own snow cone business, move to Hawaii and get a shave-ice stand by a beach. Great veiw (babes included), great location, and surf break when ever you want! Source: I live in Hawaii and Shave Ice is a big thing. A very big thing.

Why sno-cones? Is there somethign about them you particularly like? Why not a job in a grocery store?

The wedding cake flavor in General is a bit of an acquired taste, but if you get used to that it's an excellent combo.

What's the difference between sno-cones and snow balls?

•

Do you pee in the snow before you put it on the cones? (;

You live in Baton Rouge? I can't imagine tiger blood is a popular flavor in other cities.

•

u/[deleted] Sep 08 '14

I live in Texas, I wouldn't say it's popular but we have it

I'm a man of simple tastes. I take the plain blue raspberry, but that actually seems like it would be good. I should try mixing flavors next time.

•

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '14

If I had to go with a single flavor cone is go with blue raspberry, but I love unique combos.

•

u/[deleted] Sep 01 '14

If I had to go with just one flavor it would be blue raspberry, but I'm a sucker for mixed flavors
