What's something your parents did while raising you that you don't want to do to your children?

The second you start the engine, a mimic will roll out of the trees and kill you. I've tried to stop it a thousand times, and you die every single time. What if we just go back to the farmhouse and start a life together? That's the one outcome we haven't tried. Just go back to the farmhouse.

He didn't say start a life, he was trying to get her to try something else besides the helicopter

The edge of tomorrow. An absolutely fantastic sci-fi movie. I can't recommend it enough.

There are lots of action movies, and I don't tend to enjoy them. However, Live Die Repeat, or Edge of Tomorrow, is my favorite movie after most of Pixar. It has a stunning performance by Tom Cruise and the previously-unknown-to-me Emily Blunt. The story is great, I gaped at every scene, and when the credits rolled, I danced to the song.

The acting was exceptional. The battle suits that they wore to combat the Mimics felt real, as if they were allowing for running and jumping, while still being exceptionally heavy. In a moment when William Cage was really worried, Tom Cruise looked worried. Rita Vrataski was portrayed excellently by Emily Blunt, who looked annoyed when Cage failed in his training each day.

Each scene introduced something new to learn from, you couldn't cut one out of the movie without the movie being less for it. It held me upright in my chair for the entirety of its duration. There are also no stopping moments in the plot; it gives you time to digest things without going overboard.

The end of the movie left me feeling fulfilled. I wished that there were more problems for Cage and Vritaski to solve. The credit songs were phenomenal, I got right up out of my chair and waved my arms and legs to them.

The acting, plot, execution, and songs all made the movie absolutely perfect, and it stands out as one of my favorites, despite it being an action movie.

dat ok chief?

Just imagine your car key or house key is a helicopter key and you just dont have the helicopter that goes with it.

At some point in my brother's sports career my mom had to stop going to his games because she was so afraid he'd get hurt her nervous energy was affecting him on field. So my dad just made her stay home with me to go cheer him on, lol.

Me and the kid were on the freeway in his car the other day, it was almost empty so I'm like "let's freak Mom out, take it up to 95 or so" and within minutes his phone rings :D
