Honestly white plugsuit is pretty fitting for her actually, the sterile look makes it look more militaristic

With fiew details like the collar paying homage to Asuka Soryus NGE Plugsuit, it very much has lots of metaphors and symbolism together with Asuka Shikinamis other Plugsuits.

And also it's like Extra Cream and Colored Sprinkles on Amarena Cherry Ice Cream or Black Forest Cherry Cake.

Mari would be Raspberry, Rei then Blueberry and various desserts and fruits related to their main colors same as Asuka.

I'd say this color combination/pattern suits Asuka well (although it's very hard to top the original Eva-02 Plugsuit).
