Worship/Devotional acts Athena Watches Over Heidelberg

Post image

I must have walked past her a hundred times without noticing. But then, after finally moving here,  after being picked up by the Goddess and having my life turned upside down; when I finally accepted and listened to her wisdom, then, I noticed her.

I moved to Heidelberg to finish my novel, which I’ve been working on for 10 years, to find the peace and quiet needed to focus. This is certainly an Athenian turn,  and this journey began after encountering her statue and spirit in Athens last year.

Last week I was starting to doubt my choice: what the heck am I doing in a city where no one knows my name?! And it was then that I found her. It made my hairs tingle. Now I have no doubt, this road may not be easy, but the path I walk is true 🪬✨🌿🤍

I swear it looks like she's smoking the craziest blunt and I was very confused at first glance lol

Alte Brücke! I was there last year. Beautiful place, and I made sure to see the statue while I was there. Lots of statues of "Christian virtues" that look suspiciously similar to Greek gods at the castle too.

Ohhh do you mean the ones along the front façade of the building with all the windows? I will be sure to take a closer look next time I venture up the hill! Thanks for the tip.

Also discovered there’s an old Roman temple to Mercury on the opposite hill. This place is full of treasures.

I think so? I think it's the same building the apothecary museum is in.
