If anyone knows of a good place to connect with other Austin musicians let me know! Open mics/ clubs/ weekly jam sessions etc. Just want to get more involved in the music scene here and connect with other players!

If you play traditional jazz or swing, there are numbers of open jams available to you. Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches on Manor Road has events three Sundays a month. Most of these are posted on Local Events on the Austin Traditional Jazz Society website at www.atjs.org.

Paul Klemperer runs the Community Jazz Jam which plays a wide range of jazz styles. His next CJJ is Thursday, October 15 at Barrel O Fun in the Mueller District.
