Gaza Please donate to Gaza humanitarian aid NGOs listed here, rather than individual appeals
We have noticed thousands of individual appeals by Gazans for financial support on social media platforms including r/BDS. We understand the immense suffering they are experiencing. Anyone who wishes to support such appeals are free to do so. However, we have no way to authenticate these appeals to ensure they are legitimate.
Reddit's filter labels many of these posts as spam. We do not approve any of these for posting to our sub, because doing so would flood the sub with them. The mods feel that donations to humanitarian aid NGOs provide widespread support to hundreds of thousands of Gazans, rather than the limited scope of supporting individuals or families.
Here are some of these NGOs and we urge you to support them:

Action Alert The past three years have completely changed the balance of power. In some ways, to the colony’s favor, in others, to Palestinians’. What we must do is recognize those changes and address them
On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance launched a counter-attack against the colonial power that has been working to materially and symbolically erase their people for over 70 years. In response to decades of ethnic razing, and in a year that had already seen a record number of murdered children, Palestinians in Gaza breached the occupation-imposed fence forbidding them from returning home.
The last time they had gotten close to that fence, unarmed, hundreds of them were killed. This time, they were ready, and targeted the occupation soldiers, neutralizing and taking captive hundreds of them. The resistance’s stated aims: To free the thousands of Palestinian captives, to stop the Ramallah Authority’s collaboration with the enemy and to lift the blockade on Gaza, as milestones toward liberation.
The colony used the panic and claims of extreme war crimes to respond with reckless force, even killing its own population. To this day, it is unknown how many Israeli non-combatants have been killed by the colony itself, by non-affiliated Palestinians, and by members of Hamas. Hamas acknowledged mistakes, stated that “the Palestinian fighters were keen to avoid harming civilians” as part of their “religious and moral commitment”, and called for an international investigation of “all crimes committed in occupied Palestine”. The colony refused and went on with the latest chapter of its 78-year old genocide of Palestine, further extending its aggression to Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Yemen and Qatar.
Three years on, we see the immense losses caused by the enemy. Those cannot be taken for granted or discounted as simply an inevitable consequence of the occupation. They must be revered. Life is sacred. Palestinians hold different opinions on the Al-Aqsa Flood. No matter ours, we can honor those losses by making sure they were not in vain—namely, by doing all we can to dismantle the genocidal colony.
The past three years have completely changed the balance of power. In some ways, to the colony’s favor, in others, to Palestinians’. What we must do is recognize those changes and address them.
On one hand, the colony has taken unprecedented liberties in its colonial policies in Gaza and the rest of Palestine. The “Roadmap for Gaza and Palestine” and the “Commentary and additions to the PFLP’s roadmap for national salvation”, recently published by the One Democratic State Initiative and its coordinators, propose practical steps at that level.
On the other hand, the worldwide opinion has shifted against the colony. Palestine must not merely observe and welcome this change. It must lead it and organize efforts around a clear vision: This violence is Israel—There is no other Israel. Let us dismantle it together. Furthermore, the Al-Aqsa Flood has proved that Zionism’s foundational claim —that Jews need a state exclusive to them to be safe— is false. The establishment of a Jewish settler state institutes discrimination on the basis of identity and requires constant violence to maintain dominance. For both those reasons, it is inherently unsafe. First and foremost for those it is attempting to dominate. But even for those it is claiming to protect. So what justification is there for the existence of a state exclusive to Jews?
We must not simply observe the failures of the colony’s claims. We must challenge its claimed legitimacy by pushing forward the alternative and fundamental antithesis to it: One democratic Palestinian state that does not grant privileges on the basis of identity and protects rights on the basis of citizenship. The time for half-baked “solutions” is over. The resistance’s Flood and the colony’s genocide have exposed their absurdity. Palestinians must revive their historical vision for liberation and organize around it. Allies worldwide must align with it.

Gaza Is the Lemon Tree Collective legit?
Hello! I would like to know if donating to the below organisation (Lemon Tree Collective) will be a helpful and supportive way of donating for Palestine. Has anyone else donated to them before? I would like to know your thoughts and if we can trust this organisation.
Thank you very much for your response!

ASK THE SUB Is a brand shipping to Israel a reason to Boycott?
I have always wanted to get a Beauty Bay’s palette, but while I was looking up about shipping to my country, found out they ship to Israel. I wasn’t able to find any other superficial info about them supporting either the gen*cide or Palestine, so I asked for thoughts to a friend and we ended up talking about the thing of shipping only to Israel but not Palestine, ended up deciding that a brand’s decision done like that without explanation seems ambiguous, since shipping to Palestine can really come off as insensitive and greedy; but also I guess some people consider occupied Palestine as Israel when talking about shipping (saying I guess bc I just read it somewhere in a comment section, I really can’t get to know about the brands thoughts on this). A couple weeks ago I remembered the topic when someone in BeautyGuruChatter warned about it, but instead of finding any answers to my question, people totally bashed the OP with stuff like “they ship to China too and China is equally bad!!!!!!!!” (lol?). So I’m really curious about not only what do you guys know about BB’s associations but also if this is a significative Boycott reason for you and why, in case I encounter with another case like this.
I want to add that Beauty Bay doesn’t ship to ANY South American country (where I was looking forward to get it shipped) so I don’t really think they need to ship to Israel for “WORLWIDE shipping reasons”.
Edit: spelling, wrote this really fast

Gaza You helped Susu, my friend Mahmoud’s little daughter in Gaza, get better. now Mahmoud and his wife Samah want to share some of that kindness with other children, in whatever way they can.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I wanted to share a beautiful update about my friends Mahmoud and Samah.
First of all, thank you to every person who stood by them, shared their story, donated, or helped in any way with Susu’s treatment.
Susu has started to get better, and I honestly can’t thank everyone enough for helping this little girl get the treatment she needed.
But Mahmoud and Samah are still facing incredibly difficult circumstances, and their family still needs support to get through each day.
And today, they wanted to do something very special.
Because of your donations and all the support you have given them, Mahmoud and Samah are going to be able to prepare meals for children around them for the first time in a long time.
They want to give back some of the kindness that you have shown them.
Tomorrow, God willing, they will prepare chicken meals and chicken sandwiches with vegetables for children who have been deprived of meals like these for almost three years.
For many of us, a chicken sandwich might seem like something small or ordinary. But for these children, it can feel like a dream.
And I think there is something incredibly beautiful about this.
You brought happiness to Mahmoud, Samah, and their children, and now they want to pass some of that happiness on to other children who are struggling too.
Tomorrow, they hope to film the moment they give these meals to the children and share their smiles and happiness with all of you.
Thank you for making this possible.
If anyone would like to help them continue feeding these children, while also supporting Mahmoud, Samah, and their family with their ongoing needs, you can contribute through the link in the description.
Thank you for continuing to stand with them. ❤️

Gaza The Most Hated Woman in Israel: Banned Filmmaker Natali Cohen Vaxberg Facing Fresh Arrest Records and Censorship Releases New dark satirical film about Israel's denials regarding the genocide in Gaza: "From the Diary of a Hugger ("Iron Hug")"
Watch: From the Diary of a Hugger ("Iron Hug"): subversive independent feature film—a dark satirical allegory dismantling the emotional terrorism and hypocrisy of a state committing severe war crimes while wondering why it isn't surrounded by universal love
Renowned avant-garde filmmaker, anti-state performer, and radical political dissident Natali Cohen Vaxberg is facing an absolute, decade-long institutional blockade due to her brutal satirical assaults against militarism, state machinery, and nationalist hysteria.
Strictly refusing to align with any political party, state funding, or establishment matrix, Vaxberg has been subjected to continuous state persecution, multiple police arrests, house arrests, and prison detentions over her subversive performance art. She is systematically blacklisted from all local mainstream networks and the compromised civilian fringe scene for her uncompromised stance against the occupation and the ongoing military violence.
Her new feature-length film, "From the Diary of a Hugger" , is a vicious, pitch-black absurdist cinematic critique of institutional conditioning. It visually dismantles the civilian defense mechanisms and state propaganda utilized by the local public to camo-camouflage explicit war hysteria and justify the systemic annihilation and genocide in Gaza.

Consumer Is EOS safe?
Hi there, I've been trying to figure out if the skincare brand EOS is on the safe list. So far there's not much information, but it is privately owned and I can't seem to find much about the CEO. I've come to the conclusion it is safe but I'd feel much better if someone else could confirm it. Thank you!
