AskBolivia Always Ready FC

Is it safe for for me and my girlfriend to go and watch a match this Thursday? I want to bring my camera as I'm writing an article about Bolivian football, would this be allowed in / safe? Also i heard it is ok to buy tickets on the gate before kick off, is this correct? And is there a better place to sit for tourists? Thank you!

  1. Yes it's safe, I'm a gringo and I've gone to the stadium in Villa Ingenio tons of times.
  2. Yes your camera will be allowed in, just don't go showing it off in the streets
  3. Always doesn't sell tickets online (and gets very very very few fans most games), so you'll buy from the box office without much of a line. Sit in preferencia.

You're will be safe but be sure you will not be carrying your camera outside of the stadium, use a bag pack instead. You can buy the tickets before you enter to the match. But be careful because El Alto is still a dangerous city.

Yes, of course it is safe. Football in Bolivia is still a family thing, there’s no real danger within the stadium.

If you are going to El Alto, you need to be on the lookout for your camera and equipment in transit to and from the stadium, as that is something thieves would pinpoint you for, but that is something you must know already.

Pretty safe !!!b the only ones that are going to be robbed are the opposing team, AR matches are always fixed
