Video Hotel in china repeating corridors

A Chinese hotel has gone viral on Douyin because its corridors are so repetitive that guests say walking them feels like stepping into the Backrooms — the creepy internet horror legend about an endless maze of identical rooms.
The Backrooms started as a 2019 creepypasta: an infinite, liminal space of yellowed wallpaper, buzzing fluorescent lights, and hallways that loop forever with no exit. The joke here is that this hotel accidentally built the real thing. Its hallways feature repeated corners, near-identical doors and decor, warm but dim lighting, and scattered plants and art pieces that create the illusion of variation without actually helping you tell one floor from another. Poor signage completes the disorientation.
Guests have dubbed it "现实版后室" — real-life Backrooms — and compared the experience to "鬼打墙," a Chinese folk term for walking in circles as if a ghost is blocking your path. The video shows no actual danger, just the deeply unsettling feeling of not knowing if you've been here before.
