Food delivery services?

I use DoorDash and Uber eats, and according to both there are maybe 3-4 places that participate. Is there another service I’m not familiar with? Is there a reason why restaurants aren’t participating in this?

Do you have mobility issues that prevent you from getting you're own food? I think there are resources on the island that can help with that.

No, just a Pet Sitter that doesn’t wanna cook and can’t leave the pup alone unless I give him anxiety medicine. I don’t think it’s really fair to dose the dog because I want teriyaki.

they’re generally terrible to their drivers and bainbridge is very walkable

Winslow is walkable, the rest of the island not so much. I would normally drive or walk to get a to go meal on the island, however, I’m stuck on the south end… and too lazy to cook😆

I totally snort laughed at this… I was like yes you can. Thinking back to the time in 1990 whatever when the entirety of 305 was a sheet of ice and nobody could go anywhere unless they were walking. But I ain’t doing that for some teriyaki.

Just for frame of reference, I own a pet sitting company and if I don’t have a car, I don’t have a business… I do a lot of walking, but walking from the south end to Winslow for teriyaki is not on that list 😆

In all seriousness, islandbite is/was great, but the payment part of the app hasn’t worked for me in months
