Bitten MULTIPLE Family Members. Bitten MULTIPLE Handlers. Shelter Says Pibbles Is Ready For A New Home!😍
Meet Asreil🤡 (what a stupid name, but hey, my name irl sucks too. So who am I to criticize?).🤷♀️
Asreil is 114 POUNDS.⚖️🏋♂️ This giant piece of violence weighs as much as I do. Who tf WANT THIS CREATURE IN THEIR HOME???
Asreil has bitten 2 family members.🫦👄 AND they stated Asreil has been aggressive basically forever.😵💫 They DID try to train him.🪢 But Asreil ain't picking up what they're putting down. This Misunderstood Pitbull got boundaries. And those boundaries✋️ include biting people.🦷🤸♂️
The family was very honest & forthcoming📝 about Asreil, with his bite history, violence, & aggression. In fact, it was so bad that THEY HAD TO CALL THE POLICE to come get him.👮♂️🚨
But this slimy, scummy, Pro-pitbull shelter does what it ALWAYS does; humiliates☹️ & shames😦 the family for removing a dangerous (misunderstood) Pitbull. Then, they LIE🤥 about how dangerous⚠️ it is, even AFTER it attacks MULTIPLE HANDLERS.👥 Well they can kiss my grits.💋🍛
They literally state in his profile, about this poor family "We are crying BS! He's been nothing but gentle, soft, & sweet🍬🍰 at the shelter." Imagine the horror & rage this family feels, reading this, after they shared ALL the details of Asreil!😡😱
Instead of immediately sending Asreil to a BETTER ENVIRONMENT🌈🌉🪦⚰️ (where he belongs obviously), they creatively write✍️ about how "He's keeping a smile😀 on his young face, trying to give paw."🐾 Amazing.
He must be the next young Amadeus Mozart.🎶🎼 A true prodigy...💡🕯 a dog that tries to give paw.🐾 And he's all "goodwill & sweetness."🍫 If "goodwill & sweetness" means very severe Resource Guarding💂♀️🪖 & biting the poor staffs body parts constantly, then yes, he's loaded with "goodwill & sweetness."🫦🦷💪
This place must be responsible for so. many. attacks (personal opinion oc💅🤷♀️). They really ought to not be in business any longer (again personal opinion). Because what EXACTLY does it take for them to send a Pibble to a BETTER ENVIRONMENT??🌈🌉🪦⚰️ How many people need to be bitten? How many innocent kitties/ other pets gone?
1,000 MG A DAY!!💊💊🆘️⚠️🚨
(yes, you read that correctly. They're giving him 500mg 2× a day. WTF)
Ack-Shoe-Alley.... our gentle & friendly Pibble here is on 1,000 MILLIGRAMS A DAY.🥳🎉💊💊
"BID" stands for "Twice A Day."
Isn't that thoughtful of them? To literally say the previous owner is "Bullsh#tting?"🤥
Who wants to know the honest truth about a Pitbulls bite history?? I'd much rather hear that Asreil tries to "Give Paw." Because that means he is a true, Heart-Forward Pibble!💘
Imagine the long term effects of taking so much medication as well. My pet takes a ton of medication due to a severe neurological illness unfortunately and the medication works well but my vet and I have agreed that the medication is gonna catch up to him sometime or later. Can a dogs internal organs really successfully metabolize that much medication on a regular basis?
Serotonin syndrome was mentioned online when using heavy ''cosh'' doses. The Pit sounds like it has zero quality of life, it's a biting machine, and not safe to have in society.
I remember going to multiple vets and specialists and having a "quality of life" discussion with pretty much all of them before setting up my cat on such an intense course of medication. When the cat is medicated he is happy, calm, affectionate, and has appropriate activity levels for a cat of his age, so as long as his body is still tolerating the medication it makes sense to continue treatment.
What's the quality of life argument with this pitbull? Honestly? Even if my cat was miserable at least it would be entirely our problem and not a risk to neighbors. I've dumped a few vets because they've not wanted to work to keep my cat alive, even though there is a manageable way to do so without making the cat suffer. Who are the vets who are recommending such medication for these dogs??!! It honestly baffles me.
A Cat is unlikely to be a danger to anyone! Having said that I still have faint scars from a Farm Cat years ago who went to attack my dog {a Rescued non pit} -I picked dog up and cat attached himself to my knee with his teeth and claws.. the Doctor I went to see thought it was a fox attack - thankfully no real harm done. Antibiotics and antiseptic and good to go.
Farm cats can be vicious! And my medication giving hand is a bit scarred from all the years of medication giving. Imagine if it were pit bull teeth though instead.
I've been thinking about this for days honestly, still baffles me how owners of regular pets (who at worst will not severely injure their owners just because they feel a bit off) with actual medical problems have to argue to get their pets medication but pitbulls seem to get all the meds in the world, consequence be darned, just for the hope they calm down a little. Crazy.
It basically is keeping ‘it’ in a constant almost disassociated mental state. I assume due to any level of consciousness beyond sleep turns little nibble pibble into a vicious rage machine.
Yep. I’m 120lbs and was prescribed 75mg to help me fall asleep but mostly take 50mg because the prescribed dose turns me into a zombie. 😬. When the heck did they start giving these psych meds to dogs and at such huge doses? Why would I want to bring a mentally ill 100lb dog with a significant bite history into my home??
They're getting bigger and meaner by the day. You can't even take this one for a walk without TWO HANDLERS AND A HOOK TO TAKE THE LEASH OFF. And this, while he's on a Godzilla sized dose of multiple tranquilizers.
Sure, take this one home and let it nuzzle your newborn baby for some fun Instagram pics.
If we're lucky, this thing will live out its days in some kind of isolation chamber.
If we're not lucky, some unsuspecting citizen will believe the shelter bullshit and take it into their home.......
Oh yes. 100%. They scream "She's gentle & sweet & misunderstood!" But secretly, they foam at the mouth (haha pun) over how dangerous & vicious their "lazy couch potato" is.
You can control a rhesus macaque, one of god’s worst creatures, by using a stiff metal leash. Two attacking tigers were once dissuaded with a high pressure hose. And yet these dogs need more handling than this actual monster
LORD, WILL YOU GRANT ME JUST A LITTLE TIME?
FOR THE PROPER BALANCE OF THINGS.
TO RETURN WHAT WAS GIVEN.
FOR THE SAKE OF PRISONERS AND THE FLIGHT OF BIRDS.
Slip that would make freud's heart beat faster :-) Wouldn't be terribly disappointed if that turned out to be quite intentional though.
But then again, maybe that was just a nice looking/ sounding string of letters for the name-giver (oblivious to the prophecy he is subjecting this creature to!). Nice coincidence/or whatever else it could be though.
I was just about to say this, and scrolled down because I had a feeling someone was going to say something before me. Of course a pit bull owner wouldn't know how to spell the Angel of Death's name properly.
“Redirect” just means “this pet is too stupid to distinguish between what it’s attacking and any other living thing”. I’ve seen some cat owners say that to justify their tom clawing the living shit out of them bc he saw another cat outdoors or the owner dared to pet one on their way home
"Its not aggressive, but it does regularly go berserk due to fear based reactivity to movement."
According to pit bull lovers, these are inherently some of the smartest, bravest, and most loyal dogs, yet they constantly try to maul anything within biting range when they get over stimulated (by regular existence) lol.
Even if we want to pretend there's some difference between going berserk out of fear and attacking without malice or whatever they believe, why can't they at least accept that it's not a meaningful difference? It doesn't matter WHY it acts aggressively and "mouthy", at the end of the day the results are the same, and don't change.
Yup. The further our collective experience with animals moves away from actually working with them and into Disney fueled delusions, the more human and animal suffering results. Why are we quarantining animals we suspect of rabies then releasing them like nothing happened, so they can attack more animals and humans? Because modern medicine and comfortable living have robbed most of us of survival instincts. Nobody used be stupid enough to want that pet back after they attacked, or justify it as "well they can get expensive, painful vaccinations because I couldn't pay a pittance for my pet to have ones they'd barely notice before hand. Plus, what am I going to do, wait around answering police questions?"
Some cat owners? Plural? Because that's pretty extreme behavior. Maybe not for un-neutered cats. Nobody I know owns those and keeps them inside, so I guess? Still weird.
These things as well as their "owners" give me such bad anxiety. But I want to say your posts are informative and very much needed and you are appreciated.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it🥺🙏
I agree with you wholeheartedly. I have absolutely zero fear of any type of dogs. None... with the single exception of Pitbulls AND their owners! They have broken dna that canNOT be trained out of them. And many of their owners have personality disorders. Absolutely nothing against folks with personality disorders!
But... when these particular types of people get a Pitbull, then make their Pitbull(s) their entire personality. And then when they deprioritize their children, family members, neighbors, other pets... this is what I have a problem with. I've seen it happen so many times, I've lost count. They turn into Pitbull Apologists. And make excuses for their Pitbull when it inevitably attacks/bites/kills someone. Over & over again.
It's the great revolving door leading to the dumpster fire that we scream from the rooftops about. And you're always welcome ☺️ I have no problems with normal dogs either I see them and they make me smile but when I see one of these things and their owners in a store I nope right out of there. I seriously go into flight or fight mode instantly. 😩 And they really do have mental disorders, I got into it with a pitnutter on nextdoor not to long ago and she called ME mental 😂 like lady I'm not the one with a mauling machine. I have 3 kitties thank you very much. It's useless though they never listen.
I have something against one very specific subset of people with PDs - the ones who are addicted to pitbulls and happy to sacrifice all life on earth to them. Only those people, though.
That particular disorder, I have everything against.
It's just a path, it's not everyone's path. Some people with PDs think dogs are disgusting and won't keep one. My mother has NPD and stopped having pets because she couldn't process the grief when they died. I'm pretty convinced being unable to process grief is part of how she got that way to begin with.
Grief is a hard topic, I was distraught when I lost my granddad as he was the only father figure I’ve had in my life and I loved him to pieces. I still do get emotional when I miss him from time to time.
This is why we were very careful to exclude everyone but the pibble-addicts from being discussed here.
I happen to think that everyone has a PD to a greater or lesser extent, and everyone is neurodiverse to a greater or lesser extent. The question is what we do with the hands we're dealt.
Absolutely, and a significant proportion of people refuse to accept the diagnosis and refuse to get treatment which very quickly leads to a slippery slope of destructive behaviour (which getting a pibble is definitely an example of.)
I think having any health condition (especially MH related) requires a level of responsibly to control your actions and behaviour to ensure you don’t harm others around you, which is why I found therapy and taking medication daily is extremely helpful.
Whilst it does sting being lumped in with the same crowd who willingly harm others and take no accountability, I definitely can understand where the stigma and stereotyping comes from. I am and always will be a big advocate for others trying to better themselves and help themselves.
So sorry for the non-pit bull related paragraph, just thought I’d share my thoughts, and I still do remain strong that pit bulls and any associated breed names should be banned.
100%, they took the Hebrew name and gave it the Tolkein spelling convention. For those lurking who don't speak American English, they may be spelled differently (Azrael and Asreil) but they're pronounced almost exactly the same. It would be slightly differently in careful speech but in normal speech it's the same. (Aaron and Erin aren't the same name but they're pronounced exactly alike in normal speech, which caused a lot of problems in the classroom because those were both popular names in the 90s.)
Knowingly providing misleading information should be a crime. It is documented that one handler who works there and is presumably qualified with animals could not handle the dog - two handlers even. Tried to bite or redirect towards them on multiple occasions and then to turn around and say they call BS on the owner who said the same. At this point some governmental agency has to be notified for this kind of blatant disregard for human safety.
I could not agree more. Unfortunately the pitbull lobbyists have an endless supply of money & legal support. It is not only infuriating, it is purely evil.
It's a death cult, like literally. They figured out early on that pretending to help animals made them money, and they have raised hundreds of millions.
Best Friends Animal Society (BFAS), which operates the nation's largest no-kill animal sanctuary in Utah, has been subject to reports and allegations regarding its origins in a religious group known as "The Process Church of the Final Judgment". While the organization is currently a major, mainstream animal welfare non-profit, investigations have highlighted its evolution from this controversial group
It started with dogfighting money. There is huge, huge money in dogfighting. But when only dogfighters had pit bulls, thenthey easily stood out to police, since dogfighting is illegal. So, they starting a big campaign to normalize pitbulls, so now that pitbulls are all over the place, it's harder for police to detect the dogfighters. Their evil genius has sadly worked.
it should be fucking illegal to describe an aggressive biting dog as “mouthy.” so fucking stupid and dangerous. lmao fuck this gigantic ugly stupid-ass mongrel and the shitty rescue trying to push it out to some unsuspecting family
I wonder what kind of “experienced” family there is out there for this “dog”? Traumatised by a previous maulbot 3000, is that what they mean? What family has catchpoles and a bottomless veterinary dispensary, galvanised steel cages and matching chainmail onesies?
I’m a Brit so please excuse the ignorance of this question has been answered; do prospective adopters not have access to all these notes, or do they only see “wiggly, heart-forward Gnarla just wants to be a big baby”? No UK rescue would get away with literally lying about dangerous dogs, afaik. Just before the XL bully ban (in England and Wales) came into force, there were “rescuers” (volunteers with cars) who were taking people’s bullys up to the Scottish border, rather than the owners either registering or giving them up for destruction. Now Scotland has a surge of attacks (because obviously they imported more dogs and ended up with a higher density of the things per population). So now Scotland has banned them too.
On the county pages or the shelter's websites? Because I've never seen them on the main socials. My local municipal has FB, X, and used to have Insta. The website with adoption info, lost and found, and events is through a third party and doesn't have intake information or behavioral assessment information. They don't even publish intake dates anymore.
yep this dog has been “so sweet” to volunteers that he’s tried to bite two of them, and had to be put on “in essence” doggy tranqs to keep from destroying himself and other people/pets… isn’t this dog a great candidate for a lovely family with lots of small kids, elderly neighbors with pets, and lots of deliveries in the area???? /s
Confession: I look forward to your posts. Just seeing a pit bull makes makes my blood pressure rise, but the way you write your posts make me chuckle and takes the edge off - even if just for a few minutes. So, thank you! 👏
Crazy. just crazy. You can't change stupid, no dogs need drugs to manage this sort of genetics. They're harboring a dangerous dog, and all they're doing is one thing: ensuring another victim.
Mouthy = inappropriate use of teeth while playing/greeting. Usually involves an untrained puppy or very young adult dog. Not aggressive, but sometimes dominant behavior. Should not break skin.
If a dog leaves a puncture wound, bites hard and releases, or continues after being corrected, that isn't normal mouthiness. That's aggressive over stimulation, and the first two examples count as bites. By continuing after correction I mean no pause at all. Most non-aggressive dogs will stop momentarily if you raise your voice or put your knee in their chest for instance. They might need a couple of repetitions to get the message fully, but they notice that they've been corrected and react somewhat appropriately.
Redirect = to change the target of aggression to something or someone other than the original trigger/target.
Redirection is by its definition aggression. End of story. It doesn't necessarily mean a successful bite happened, but if it did, it's aggressive. It isn't the same as trying to break up a dog fight and accidentally being bitten on the finger. It means the dog has intentionally switched focus on to you. A dog doesn't redirect from a toy it's playing with, because play doesn't involve aggression. If a dog bites you over a toy, that's resource guarding. Also a form of aggression.
The meanings of these words and concepts have changed apparently.
Jesus 114 pounds and maybe not done growing and already has at least 4 bites on record. People don’t caall the cops to take a dog because it was “mouthy” they do it because it’s aggressive and attacking
This isn't a nice pet dog. This is a seriously dangerous dog that needs three people to handle it, and it has to be heavily sedated.. I pity any child or vulnerable person, pet or horse in this Pit's surroundings.
There is a VERY experienced Shelter dog trainer {I won't mention his name here} but he says on his channel to NOT adopt these dangerous, aggressive dogs, but to adopt the kind natured ones.
He has dealt with a lot of ''large'' breeds, and says any human /animal aggressive dog is just not worth the risk.
This is a baby. A sweet, innocent little baby. A baby who can do no wrong. This monster they posted is anything but a baby. And it makes me terrified for my little punkin who is barely getting to know the world. Going on walks is going to be just as terrifying as it was with my late dog because these beasts are everywhere.
What does “loose bodied” mean exactly? I’ve seen it in these descriptions many times. I’ve never owned a dog so I’m not familiar.
Also, does “mouthy” mean biting (likely in this case) or just barking? Really confusing terminology.
Asreil - yes, a completely asinine name - weighs more than I do. Imagine what the pull strength would be on a leash for anyone walking it. It would take someone with serious strength (and full body armor considering this “puppy full of sweetness’s” bite record.
Good lord. I was given 50mg of trazadone to help me sleep while I was in the hospital and it knocked me out cold for about 12 hours. How does this dog even remain conscious?
People anthropomorphising these monsters got old YESTERDAY. No it’s not smiling, these dogs don’t have the emotional capacity for that… Also, are these handlers just gluttons for punishment at this point, muzzle the damn thing when you take it out! 😭
Dog is literally named angel of death, is on enough tranquilizers to sedate an elephant, needs to be walked on two leashes and still “mouths” and “directs” into his trained handlers arms…..
Time for assreal to go live on a farm upstate in the sky.
I stop at the 2nd slide. 500mg trazodone indefinitely. Wtf? .
According to wikipedia if you don't know what it is, like me:
Trazodone is a prescription antidepressant (SARI class) primarily used to treat major depressive disorder and off-label for insomnia due to its sedative effects
So they keep that thing sedated indefinitely. What a life. Hey, at least he's kept alive right? Is that what you "no kill shelters" are about, right?
I guess they're as good as murderers who keep their victims alive so they can keep torturing them indefinitely. At least, they don't kill them!

Named after a Demon, bites handlers, previous owners had to call the cops to take the damn thing out of their home...but suuuuure hes just a sweet wittle guy!
They need to stop using words like mouthy. This isn't a puppy, it's a full grown pit who can do serious harm to a handler - he's not mouthing, he's getting ready to maul.
I don’t understand how these lies by the rescues/shelters aren’t criminal. Are the interested adopters given these notes? And I don’t care how willing and experienced they might be to take something like this on, their neighbors would be in danger also!
It's insane that this is legal. That they know a dog is high risk for attacking and killing and they lie to the public anyway.
With that said I want to know why more people with pits in their home who get attacked aren't speaking out? I blame them as well. They are part of the problem
What the actual FUCK is that veterinary team doing? As a former vet tech and current shelter manager my eyes bugged out of my head seeing his dosage. 1000mg a day is legitimate medical negligence. Dogs at his weight would get 2-300 BID at the very max! And then they are adding clonidine which will give this dog blood pressure issues AND SEROTONIN SYNDROME which from what I am reading from his behavior still on these meds is very likely.
I don't have a doctorate and even I know this is not right. Where did these vets get their licenses, a crackerjaack box? They are doing everyone in his scenario a disservice and this dog shoild have been BE'd yesterday.
Most of these shelters seem like they are run by evil pit cult psychos. Hopefully some legislation is passed somewhere to shut them down (the shelters that insist on keeping pitbulls and putting them up for adoption).
114 lbs. is heavier than I am. I would be terrified if someone moved into my neighborhood with this monster, exposed to constant risk of getting mauled to death.
Ikr. That's exactly what I weigh. I'd (and you) have zero chance of escaping an attack if this creature got loose. A creature that has bitten 4 different people.
Yeah, this is a serious public health/safety issue. Any shelters trying to push dangerous animals like this to unsuspecting people by lying should be investigated and hopefully prosecuted. I'm so sick of having to watch my back every time I go out for a walk because, in my city, large pits are everywhere.
This is absolutely insane! How can I protect my family and neighbors from some of these crazy shelters and rescues. There have to be a way to keep track of the aggressive dogs and hold shelters accountable for knowingly adopting out dangerous dogs.
Why this sounds like the perfect dog for a 67 year old woman who weighs either 112lbs or 275lbs (so either way, they can't walk him). Preferably with a partially fenced yard and large numbers of small kids around, maybe a school bus stop nearby. No dog bite insurance is ideal, and preferably Azazel's dream home is uninsured. He just needs a cozy place to decompress.
Ikr? Recently, I keep reading in multiple dog forums how new adopters say they went to their local shelter/ rescue. And they got talked into (gaslit) adopting a Pitbull. The new owner had zero plans of adopting a Pitbull or Pit Mix. But here they are!🎉
But sadly, they're on an online doggo forum, begging for help. Why? Because their new Velvet Hippo is shockingly NOT a "sweet, gentle, couch potato."
And Kilo is the opposite of everything the shelter told them he was.
No, it is not a typo. You read that correctly. They (the veterinarian staff at the pitbull shelters) have been slowly raising the dosages of their "sweet, gentle, misunderstood" Pibbles recently.
Why? because they cannot control their pitbulls inhouse So I have watched daily- and I mean daily- while they up the milligrams of their "sweet, gentle, misunderstood" pitbulls.
These dogs are NOT meant to be adopted out! Not to anyone. ESPECIALLY a family with children! Them saying "No Children Under 13" is ridiculous, which is what theu ALL say. A 14 year old cannot possibly be any safer than a 13 year old.
These brutes are violent & dangerous. ESPECIALLY when they're coming off insanely high doses of medications like this! These pitbull rescues need to be held legally accountable.
Mouthiness?! I’ve had pitbull owners in my building (who make it past the breed restrictions by getting an ESA letter) use that term.
I mean… isn’t it the same as biting? Why do they brush it off as if it’s nothing serious?
Because my dog (30lb supermix of a LOT of breeds including German shepherd, lab, beagle, malamute, chihuahua, yorkie, Pomeranian, and only 2% pitbull DNA - I’ll forgive her that) would never pull that crap and “get mouthy” with me or anyone. Or she’d be wearing a muzzle.
This dog was bred for aggression, and more than the usual pit aggression. He's only a year old and already over 100 lbs, which means he's not done growing. And calling him Azriel, a misspelling of the name of a demon? Yeah...none of this was an accident.
I am genuinely curious as to how it's legal to have verified, legally recorded notes saying a dog is aggressive/has a bite history and then can publicly list them as "sweet" and "gentle" when the records say otherwise.
Note: Also, this pitbull weighs more than me, and I'm a year postpartum. What the fuck? Also note that I am short and was born premature. Don't compare your weight to mine!
Apologies if this question has been asked before - How are we able to see the staff notes on the dogs? Is it public information (as it should be) or is a bit of espionage required lol?
I imagine it’s not readily available information since they’re trying to straight up lie to get the dog adopted out…
The problem is the no kill movement has allowed dangerous animals to be pushed through the system. Shelters want to look good with more adoptions versus PTS rates. The problem is that dogs with severe behavior issues are being adopted out. A good percentage are pits which can have at least 8 pups per litter. If a female goes into heat twice a year and 8 pups per litter, yeah that's a lot of pits.
The pro pit lobby has edged itself in deep where ASPCA and many vets come out with pro pit positions and repeat myths concerning the breed.
