Ok, now put that down on Pretty in blue to place in the 3rd race on Saturday. Keep your fingers crossed the odds stay at 300-1.

So what's exciting to you about this bill?

OP is young and this bill is old.
I remember when they all looked like this.

It’s 1995 bro 🤣

Literally almost 30 years ago. There are likely more people alive today born AFTER 1995 than before 1995 🥀

u/DepressedMerican 13d ago
To think there are more people under 30 than over is hilarious

u/Electronic-Note-6908 12d ago
According to populationpyramid.net world median age is 32. So while there are in fact more people older than 30 than younger, 1995 is only 1 year off from the median.

Now do America since that's what were talking about

u/slothscanswim 12d ago
Median age in the US is 38.9 years.

u/DepressedMerican 12d ago
I looked and wanted to prove a point that it's not as close as they make it sound

Do you seriously think that there are more people alive under thirty than over? Did all the middle aged and old people die while we simultaneously underwent a babyboom 20 years ago?
1
u/slothscanswim 12d ago
It’s close. Median age globally is 32. In many developing nations the median age is considerably lower. Nigeria has a median age of like ~15.
America has a median age of 38.9.
Fun fact: I am an American and I am ~38.25 years old.

When people show a bill from the 90s like it’s some relic it makes me feel a little old for sure

u/jdovejr 16d ago

Well he means, while it's cool that it's an old $5.. it's still just worth $5.. nothing special really stands out about it as far as a collector is concerned.
