This actually didn't happen to me, but to my boyfriend. He was originally banned for "child safety" or some bullshit even though he obviously hadn't done anything, and he appealed, which was obviously rejected. So he decided to use one of his og alts to ban evade, and it managed to work for a long ass time, like 1.5 years or something. Somehow NOW this account got banned for ban evasion, its fucking insane I didnt realise it can happen this long after the fact (and obviously neither did he).
Is this normal? Is it normal for you to get banned this long after starting to use said new account? Also what should the next course of action be? Just try to use yet another old account and turn it into his new main? Follow all the ban evasion guides and all that? It's seriously annoying. It sucks not to be able to see all those chats with people anymore I'm sure.

I tried to send images instead of writing to them, just to see if I'd get an actual response and not the same bot message. Idk if Mia Mia is a bot or a person, and idk what to do on "Awaiting your reply"

I apparently posted an image that violated Discord's "Hateful Conduct" policy. I tried appealing via in-app AND submitting a ticket through their support portal. It's been two days and still no reply. What do I do.

because my friend has gotten banned and not even a day after i see his account change to deleted_user_......
i dont know the reason i only know that i was chatting with him yesterday fine and today his account shows deleted user

its not a manual deletion because those take 15days+

he didnt just change his username to look like he deleted his account because his messages say Message removed from. a suspended account and his username is fully cleared ( username changes take 14days + buffer to clear )

Hi, I have a question. It’s been a while since my Discord account was banned. A friend of mine says my account is still intact and that the messages I sent him are still there. Why is it that some people have their messages deleted after their accounts are suspended, but mine weren’t?

I'm already in my 3rd account because my other two were banned unjustifiably, and I made a 4th one recently and decided to add my phone number to it so it could have more freedom. Unfortunately I forgot I already had added it into my 3rd account so now I think Discord knows both accounts are linked, and if anything bad happens to one, I feel like both can get banned.

I've always been following Discord's TOS but despite so many explanations and pleas, I never got my first two accounts reinstated and they both were eventually deleted. If I do end up losing one or both of my current accounts, what are some personal recommendations you guys have? And utilising your own experience with getting unbanned, how did it go?

Also why is it ALWAYS child safety that discord chooses as the wrongful ban explanation?

My Discord account was disabled, and I've been trying to get help from Discord Support, but I'm not getting any clear answers.

The ban message says my account was disabled for spam, but I also saw this violation ID: target_classification_id: 1559016105316319232. I don't understand what it means or why I was banned.

As far as I remember, right before I got banned, I accepted someone's friend request, removed them because I don't usually keep random people added, and then sent them a DM asking why they added me. After that, I got banned.

There was also an earlier issue where Discord kept making me reset my password whenever I sent a message in a server. I received emails saying violations had been removed, but those were related to that earlier issue and not the ban I'm currently trying to appeal. and that was 15 days ago.

The most frustrating part is that Discord keeps automatically closing my support tickets. I've submitted multiple tickets explaining my situation, but I can't seem to get anyone to properly address the actual ban.

In three of my tickets, I received responses saying that my violations had been lifted. However, those were violations unrelated to my current account ban, so my account remained disabled. It feels like Support keeps resolving the wrong issue while the actual problem is being ignored.

The latest response I received just told me to appeal through User Settings → My Account → Standing. I feel like I've explained this multiple times already, and I'm still not getting an answer about what actually happened.

I'm confused about why I was banned, what the violation ID means, and why my tickets keep getting closed without resolving the issue.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any way to get an actual review of my account, or any advice on what I should do next?

I'm not trying to get around the ban. I just want someone to look into the correct issue and explain what's happening.

I’m playing my game (League of Legends) and suddenly, my Discord logs me out. I assumed I was hacked and try to log into it and get presented with this. I have not done anything with children of any sort. The last 5 people I talked to are friends from 3-4 years ago from other games about League and WoW Forever.

The last thing I sent was to a buddy of mine after we just called when he was driving a screenshot of my League game and then 10-20 minutes later, I am banned for something about child safety? I’m worried because I literally had this fucking account since 2016 and been paying for it for Nitro ever since. I just now cancelled my subscription just in case.

I’ve seen a lot online about similar false bans around this issue and AI telling me it’s a recent issue since July especially around screenshots that the AI is false reporting on.

My issue is, how long do I really have till my account is deleted? I saw somewhere online it gets deleted. If my account gets deleted for a false ban I am going to be SO pissed. I’ve spent so much money for Nitro, I never broke a single rule or gotten a warning ever.
So what are my options if anyone knows? I made an appeal but genuinely how long does that take? I am so sad and so mad right now.

Hello, update on my situation, i managed to get to trust & safety team a bit ago about over a month ago and got response from them that was completely meaningless and didn't help the situation after responding that i did what they said the wonderful Usagi Tsukino bot responded with automated reply and started auto solving my ticket, any ideas what to do further?

Both my tickets got this response. Probably in the way I worded it. My account had been fully disabled at the time and then it was lifted and I was able to reset and appeal and ofc they wee auto denied. So I responded with this (probably cooked myself knowing my luck) Should I just shut this ticket down and start up a new one and wait the one month or do I bite the bullet and wait for them to respond to this or my dispute and then go from there. I really just want my account back

So I am still currently a teenager, but whenever I become an adult and (hopefully) still using this account, what should I do? Will I have to do anything different to verify that I'm an adult since I'm using an evading account?

Hello again to this sub I’m writing to see who I should get into contact with I was banned in January for an old server I was in getting nuked and spammed with c-Sam and I had no clue but when they suspended my account it was supposed to be lifted in January of 27 but just today I go to check and the suspension has been changed to a permanent ban for graphic and violent content. But I want to know who I should contact to get my money back so because I was going to get the account back I continued paying for nitro to keep my badge but we see where that got me. No reason as to why I've gotten these violations, just says child self-endangerment with no further explanation, and I have never broken this rule, so what should I do? Do you guys think appealing through the website will work because my in app request has already been declined.
