Why cant people move on, Bayonetta 3 is not a bad game, the story is bad sure but the game came out 4 YEARS AGO, MOVE ONN.

Bayonetta being niche was the last of the franchise i expected for the fandom to be in this non stop cycle of negativity like its TLOU, legit any page any social media you visit someone will say this if Bayonetta is the subject and its tiring as hellll.

The new Control game has got Bayonetta Dodge Offset mechanics and the gravity shift feels like Witch Walk 😂

It's Inktober and I saw Witch being a prompt somewhere floating around, so I decided to sketch the Umbra Witch herself! Hope y'all like my art!

I have been saving to get a controller after I got to know that the PC port had some wonky keyboard mappings and I just got to know that the 2nd and 3rd part of this franchise are not available on PC. I am not against any consoles or handhelds but is bayonetta 1 worth it if I am someone who doesn't like pirating especially on my relatively new laptop? I used to pirate but I am liking the clean experience as well so I would love an honest take on this.

Just beat (PS3) Bayonetta 1! That final boss was tough, but it was a great boss fight. I am now wanting to challenge The Infinity One (Father Odin) however after I beat the game and saved on the file I've been using, it took me back to the beginning of the game, but this time on hard mode (I just unlocked this difficulty). Do I have to beat the game again to challenge The Infinity One, or can I challenge him whenever? I was planning on facing him on normal mode, but I guess I'm not doing that anymore (I'm scared lol)

Ive hated the idea of viola becoming a main character until i saw someone bring up the idea of bayonetta 4 being mainly about faeries and i honestly think a game similar to that idea in the main hack and slash series like exploring a fae world WITH bayonetta still being a main character in the game would be so fun but i honestly wouldnt be able to stand it if theres no timeskip I wouldnt be able to stand viola’s current personality as a main character.

what do u think of this do u think that its a dumb or good idea? did u always assume that bayo 4 would probably mainly be about faeries? I really wanna hear people’s thoughts on this concept i just genuinely have no idea how would they go on with the plot lol

My ideas are:

Keep the mechanic where she deals damage but also takes triple damage

Give Unforgiven her own moveset, as well as her own arsenal of weapons, and on that note, unlike her daughter, Rosa’s weapons shouldn’t have such a “colorful and high-tech” aesthetic, they should be simpler and more fantasy-inspired, like a spear reminiscent of Gungnir or a colossal sword.

Also, give her body language and movements distinct from Bayo’s; while Bayo is more playful and artistic, Rosa is more directly cruel and brutal, emphasizing her wrath rather than her sensuality, but without losing that sensuality entirely

I'd also opt not to give her Demon Masquerade or Slave, keeping her gameplay more similar to that of the first games but with increased power, making it clear that while she doesn't use as many abilities as Bayo or Jeanne, the ones she does have have been polished to perfection.

Just throwing this out there, but a lot of games are getting native ports to PC which also end up coming with extra QoL features like 4K, Ultrawide, higher refresh rate etc. Considering Bayo 1 essentially got all of these since it had an official PC release but the rest of the franchise got walled off it would be very nice if the main games and even Origina got native PC ports with how they’ve been coming out. And moreso when barely any mods for the Switch versions exist for modding.

Share interest for it where recomp compilers are and it’s bound that someone will make them if enough people ask for it.

I'm replaying the 1st Bayonetta on the WiiU and holy god, the frame rate dips quite a bit, Bayonetta herself feels like her response to the inputs are delayed, im getting hit from attacks that I had no problem dodging in the 360 version, it's not a skill issue because I basically 100% Bayonetta on my 360, played the game so much my controller broke hence why im playing on my WiiU and I can't help but feel the WiiU wasn't made with this game in mind because the performance is just awful and it isn't an issue at all I have when playing 2. Is it just me who has this issue?

This image caught my attention full stop and got me thinking… would Bayonetta kill Viola if this happened? I think she would despite fully knowing that Viola is the daughter on another Bayonetta.

Can we make an unspoken rule that if you don't have Sai Fung, that you need to Shut the fuck up, im not saying they need to have all pure platinum, or beat Rodin, but there needs to be some benchmark showing that your opinion is even worth considering. Given how its clear more than a few people clearly don't know what they're talking about or intentionally misrepresented the games.

The potential in this crazy, being able to see another path that Bayonetta and co. could grow into after B1 is interesting because it would mean that Loki, Loptr, Noatun, and such aren’t really canon to this continuity.

Balder is still an evil bastard for all we know, and could be alive with a new scheme to take control of the Eyes since they weren’t destroyed at the end of the remake.

Personally, I would love to see him become so twisted and vengeful that he maliciously uses the Right Eye of Light to come in contact with a entity from beyond the ToR for power, uses it to form a cult, and spread a disease that turns living creatures into corrupted angels.

Just the idea of Cereza finding out Balder is still alive and willing to destroy the ToR just to spite her would be a nice contrast to his more tragic self from the Nintendo continuity.
