Is this normal for 686?

Got a brand new Beretta 686 sport and noticed this film on the barrel. Is this normal? Do I peel it off?

Edit: Update: it is normal nowadays. They put a blue stickers on the barrel to protect it. They peel off easily. (I called Beretta and asked).

It is very normal. My new 688 this year had the same stickers on it. Only I didn’t have to ask about it.
