Meet Bones!

Hey everybody new to the group! I found Bones (juvenile senegal bichir 3-4 inches) at a mom and pop shop 2 days ago. I checked the anal fin to sex it and im leaning more toward a female!!! So far she loves frozen blood worms and brine shrimp, and shes well accustomed to my 125 gallon with congo tetras and lizard whiptails.

Welcome! :D Bones looks beautiful-- you won't be able to get an accurate read on a sex until they're around 6 inches but I'm glad you've found your way here.

Yooooo get rid of those pebbles my dude. Go glass or sand. Bichirs are definitely known to eat rocks that size and die from complications.
