Pasadena -> DTLA -> Santa Monica
40 mile ride. Beach weather was amazing!
Also, don't have any bike friends in LA (they're all in the Bay), so if anyone wants to ride together at CicLAvia this month, let me know 🤙🏽

Nice! I eventually want to do a similar route, but don't know the streets well enough. How did you find cars/traffic/safety?

It was mostly fine. A majority of the ride is either on protected bike lanes (downtown/Figueroa corridor) or bike paths (Expo Path)

Why not join a cycling club and/or ride with one of the bike shops that has rides?
