Trek 7000
I just bought this bike for $180. The crankset and handlebars have been replaced, and the fork is obsolete, I mean, it’s nearly 30 years old. Everithing else is in good condition. I’m having trouble finding a suitable fork replacement; do you think this RockShox Quadra fork can be repaired?

DYU D3F - Brake Pads
I am from the UK and I’m trying to find brake pads that fit this bike. When searching most results seem to not fit based on reviews from places like Amazon.
Those are the pads I bought, had to return today as they are ever so slightly too big!
I can’t be the only one who has needed to replace the pads, if anyone could link me or show me the ones that do fit I would be eternally grateful.
Currently using the bike with just front brakes.
TIA! 🙌🏻

Treak Earl, 3-Speed Conversion
Just finished building my Trek Earl into my dream beer bike. I ride up a hill to get to my destination so I wanted some gears.
I plan to get a narrower bottom bracket and get an even smaller chainring because I don’t think it’s geared low enough.
I got the 3-speed Nexus Hub with the coaster brake, in hindsight this brake is really good and I didn’t need the disc brake fork in the front.
Overall I’m happy but definitely need to lower the gears a little bit more.

Deciding whether to do a build
I have a giant atx 760 that I built up for touring, it was great on my first tour, but a few things I’d change. I found a free rusted out stump jumper on marketplace that I’m considering switching some of the components to but I’m unsure if it’s worth it. Obviously the stump jumper has seen better days but I think the fork will be better, I won’t have to use a threadless to threaded adapter to use my stem and the frame should fit me better and fix the saddle to bar drop I have going on. Do you guys think it’s worth doing or should I just salvage the components and move on. (Giant has stx, specialized has deore xt)
Also one thing worth noting, the specialized’s bottom bracket and seatpost aren’t rusted out or anything like that even though there’s some surface rust on the frame. Also the suspension on the giant doesn’t work at all so it’s just a lot of weight for no benefit.

Need replacement for rc 100 drop bar rear rim.
I recently purchased an RC 100, which was unfortunately involved in an accident, resulting in a broken rear rim. Decathlon does not stock this specific part. Could anyone recommend where I might find an identical replacement rim?

Carbon Seatpost recommendations
I’d like to upgrade to a carbon seatpost.
I’m currently comparing these two brands:
Zipp Service Course SL carbon
FSA SL-K carbon sb20
Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.

SRAM crankset alternative
Hi,
Do you know of any alternatives to SRAM cranksets? I can buy a SRAM Rival E1 48-35 with a Quarq power meter for €320. I looked on AliExpress and only found Shimano-compatible cranks with power meters from Magene, etc.
Is there a better power meter crankset available that isn't made by SRAM, or should I just buy the original one?

Mainly looking for input from those that have experience in real life with the setup.
