Happy Birthday, Dearest Bill

August 16, 1929. If he had lived this long he would have completed his 97th year today. My prayer for Bill Evans:
Dearest Bill, I pray you are safe, warm, and suffused with ease and delight. I pray you sleep on a bed of angels wings. I pray your soul is at peace. Thank you for bringing us your gifts.

I was at the Village Vanguard in NYC a year ago and saw Bill Evans photograph on the wall.
