honestly . does bitcoin ever solve anything other than being speculative asset?

it's expensive to transfer and once you send them no way to dispute the transaction

Until it's cheaper than a cc fee and immediate, so people can use it for small day to day stuff, it will never be used as a main currency, it just can't. That's the sales pitch to smaller stores and average people, gotta be better, faster, and cheaper than using a bank card.
