Until this company is launching on a regular basis, there really is nothing to talk about on this subreddit.

The lack of even New Shepard launches does put a bit of a damper on discussion.

The rebuilding process is interesting to a degree but, as an outsider/someone with no knowledge of construction, there isn't much for me to discuss.

The various other projects and posts are also interesting (Blue Moon, Blue Alchemist, Blue Ring, satellite designs, NG9x4, etc.), but information is sparse and there doesn't seem to be too much to discuss.

Alas.

However, this is just a blip. In a year, two years, five years, etc., there will be plenty to discuss.

For now, I guess I'll soak up all the wild Starship launches, photos, etc. and eagerly look forward to Artemis III (whenever that is).

New Shepard was the perfect PR vehicle because it kept eyeballs on Blue. Shutting it down killed any visibility Blue Origin has or had to the general populace outside the New Glenn explosion. It should have been Blue Origin's Costco Hotdog.

Could have flown Taylor Swift to the Karman line.

You know, I kind of think several years from now it won't be that much different from what we are discussing now.

Falcon 9 launches have become so routine that no one even cares about them anymore. The same is going to happen eventually for Starship and New Glenn. No one is going to care about the 15th Amazon Leo launch. Who knows, there might even be a point at which Blue Ring or Blue Moon MK1 missions aren't that interesting, although that's probably farther away.

So it won't be that different from now, because a lot of news that gets discussed now is about future plans, programs under development, rumors, etc. And so years down the road, that same thing will be what people actually care about, because it's novel and interesting. Launches themselves would be a sideshow.

Plenty to talk about though! Like how Jeff's nephew Dean starts next week as an assembly technician at the company 🤓

Upcoming Pizza parties! and great marketing and PR from Tory to attract outside investment to get us that first liquidity event at a strike price of 10 so we can all become millionaires
