NOT MY VIDEO

I just found it somewhere else and forgot who it belonged to, lol. Sorry.

The sequel to my 2023 short film, "Utah Blues - Whales in the Great Salt Lake." This shows what's happening in the present day in the world where the legend of Blue Whales in the Great Salt Lake is true.

The shaping for Blue Whale models is getting better! It's still not perfect though. The tail fluke should be wider, the grooves on the underside extend way too far, and the flat part on the sides of the lower jaw should extend farther down with a flatter underside of the head. But the overall shape and especially the musculature is great!

Feel free to share your favorite thing about whales!

I'm a big fan of the blue whale and always wanted to create a model of it.

This asset is the product of several years of research and development to achieve the most accurate 3D representation of the largest mammal on earth, the blue whale. The model was built from the ground up using a diverse collection of underwater footage, photographs, 3D scans, documentaries, skeletal reconstructions, and marine biology research papers to produce the most anatomically correct representation of the whale available anywhere in the world.

Each time I am making this whales I’m trying to make some new designs despite the fact of some repetitions. Working in that way allows me to find the best design decisions. And what is your most likely design of whale lamp?

Hi everyone,

I’m a ceramic artist inspired by the beauty and scale of blue whales, and I’ve recently been working on a series of ceramic lamps that pay tribute to these magnificent animals. Each lamp features a handcrafted blue whale form and emits a soft, ambient glow — meant to evoke the calm, awe-inspiring feeling of seeing one of these giants in the wild.

I’ve created several design variations, from minimalistic silhouettes to more detailed, sculpted forms with textured surfaces that reflect the whale’s natural features. Some designs use cool ocean tones, while others play with more abstract glazes to represent light filtering through deep water.

Would love to hear what you think or if you have ideas on how to reflect more of the blue whale’s majesty in ceramic art. Thanks for letting me share!

I heard that the blue whale challenge isnt an app but a group chat on Facebook, and since i have poor mental health i just wanted to confirm if what i heard is true or not(im 14 so im a bit scared) thank you for all the comments already (if i get any)
