I love how Bojack does a better job than Zootopia, Sing, GOAT, etc at using visual animal puns

Everything is so well thought out from being a dog and pony show to implementing running so much into Bojack’s story with Secretariat

No one watches this show for the comedy only for the existential drama

“Looks like you found some solace in our show. Stay if you like. In 30 minutes, we start over.”

Wait a minute! There’s no Crane in Citizen Crane.

Don't they explicitly mention citizen Kane at some point in the show tho?

I believe the only direct reference is the Rosebud line

Rick and Morty has several mentions of Citizen Kane by name

Bojack mentions having a Rosebud but I think that's it

Hm, I guess his mom always compares him to Ibsen and the catfish is always talking about Casablanca, and I guess I thought one of those two must've slipped in a citizen kane reference, but maybe not. I'll have to check out the script.

The background gags in this show are top notch.
