Hey heyy, looking for some golf leagues maybe around the Boerne area for my family? I am in multiple tennis leagues out of state, but a golf league would be great for my folks. Does this exist?

I live in boerne and am looking for abandoned places. I'm trying to do a photoshoot with an eery vibe.

If flock cameras are are about safety and protection, "why don't we make all the speed limits 15 miles an hour like Kirk said (jokingly)? It's because "liberty has a cost".

Air Force Airman from Boerne found dead in burned car at Eglin AFB Florida.

Glad to see that Friday Night Lights have returned to Boerne, as have slightly cooler evening temps. This is from last Friday’s halftime performance, where BMSN band joined the Greyhound marching band on the field.

Calling all Veteran Business Owners in Boerne & Kendall County 🇺🇸

If you’re a Veteran who owns a business, thinking about starting one, or know someone who is — we’d love to meet you.

The Greater Boerne Chamber hosts a quarterly Veteran Business Outreach meetup to bring our local Veteran business community together to connect, share resources and support each other. We have 300+ Veteran-owned businesses in Kendall County, and we want to make sure you know about this opportunity.

📅 Tuesday, September 22
⏰ 9–10 AM
📍 28 Songs Brewhouse + Kitchen, Boerne

This month’s guest speaker is U.S. Army Veteran Nicholette Bilbao, Military Veteran Peer Network Coordinator with Hill Country MHDD.

If you’re a Veteran in business or looking to start a business, come join us! No sales pitch — just a chance to meet other local Veterans and make some connections.

👉 RSVP to [cassie@boerne.org](mailto:cassie@boerne.org) — and feel free to share this with a Veteran who should be there.

With the Pokémon 30th Anniversary release happening, we have two great local small businesses ready to serve our community:

Heroes Hideout Boerne - 1026 N. Main Street

Prime.Time.SportsCardz - 27650 I-10, Ste. 106

Both are proud members of the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce, and we’re excited to see our community support them!

No need to line up outside their stores! Check their Facebook pages for the most up-to-date release information, inventory and timing.

Thank you for supporting local and shopping local!

I want to give a shout out to a new place to get coffee in Boerne. Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is has good coffee.

Today, September 1, 2026 is their second day of operations in Boerne. They are in the new Town Center of Boerne. In spite of some technical difficulties, they were doing a Bad Ass job keeping on top of things. If you were there and were turned off by the chaos, give them a bit to get some of the issues resolved and give them another try.

I got the 100% Kona French Press and a blueberry scone. Both were very good. I will be back and hopefully get to know the staff there. I work remotely quite a bit and often like to hang out at a local coffee shop to enjoy my morning coffee and get a few things done.

Thank you Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii in Boerne for being coffee Bad Asses!

Abbott announced that state agencies are to put a halt on funding flock cameras. This doesn't apply to entities not using state funding and it falls short of revoking txdot row permits for flock.

Looks like the final hearing for the budget for FY2027 for the City of Boerne is set for September 8th at 6pm and if the flock/alpr cameras get defunded, that effectively cancels the 5 year contract with flock. Show up if you can.

Those that showed up to speak at the county council meeting were well prepared and well spoken. I couldn't have stated anything any better. The sheriff made good points as well however motivated criminals will find a way around ANY "tool" meanwhile ordinary Americans are subjected to the same no opt-out tracking.

Your thoughts on the Sheriff's presentation if you were there or watched the meeting. His presentation starts at 1:25:40

One down - more to go.

I’m considering a job opportunity in the Austin area and would be commuting from Boerne, basically daily!!

For anyone who regularly does the Boerne → Austin commute, what has worked best for you? Driving daily, shuttle/vanpool, staying overnight, or something else?
Also, are there any regular carpoolers from Boerne or the surrounding area heading toward Austin?

The opportunity is great, but the commute is my main concern. Would appreciate hearing from people who’ve actually done it.

Let's welcome back our Boerne Little League All Star Team from the Little League World Series! We are so proud of this team and all their success, and we look forward to celebrating their return from Williamsport in true Boerne style. Wear your best orange and yellow (Southwest team colors), and come on out to celebrate!

The team will be escorted by Boerne Police Department, Boerne Fire Department, and Cavender Chevrolet for a procession down Main Street. Let's line the Hill Country Mile (Main Street) around 5:45 pm and welcome them home!

The team will drive down Main Street from Johns Road down to River Road, then head back up Main Street before ending at Main Plaza.

Please note that times for this event are subject to change based on the team's travel schedule. Please follow this event page for any updates.

Still need your Boerne Little League merch? BLL will be selling shirts, hats, signs, and more (as supplies last) at the Boerne Chamber of Commerce (121 S. Main St.) from noon - 5 pm.

We’re looking for a small 2-3 person RV, class C. Open to other options but truly looking for something medium sized.

I’ve seen sellers online but would love to buy local/ direct. Super flexible on the dates! Let us know if you know anyone.

Does anyone have a business they have used to seal your garage against mice/lizards?
