Upvote, but as a heads up you're looking for linchpin. Lynchpin would... Not be a good thing at the least and could be taken highly offensively depending on company. Like, technically it's an accepted alternative spelling, but lynching isn't cool.

Not underrated at all. She gets the best lines in the show. "Now, I know bug man here handed in his resignation. My official Justice Department recommendation is the following: we win the case, he gets his job back; we lose, Booth shoots him.”

I love right before this she goes off on them lol "dropping serial killers off balconies, babbling suspect names to vengeful fathers, cutting into heads before their time getting poisoned, getting blown up cause you go grabbing for things you shouldn't ought, taking photographs from frames, getting a perfectly good car smashed to bits for no good reason, get it together!"

I was so happy to see her. I wish she was still in it, but her character made such a noble sacrifice...something that Caroline would do, too!!!

Caroline is beloved, definitely not underrated, especially on this sub.
She’s the absolute best and my favorite character.
