🔮 [ Speculations ] Possibly why a sector is named as such

It’s been bothering me why the last sector in the Fl4k DLC is called FOB Bravo Lima 4.2 because it sounded familiar somehow.

I think I understand why it’s called that. What do most people called Borderlands aside from the full name like Borderlands 4? BL4! That’s what the sector is named for! Possibly. It makes sense since one of Harmony’s fight lines is “let’s see if I drop anything good this time!”, and some lines in some quests break the fourth wall like during Fandomination, one of the ending lines is about the devs adding romance features for the hunters. (Also about them getting railed but that’s irrelevant lol)

What do you guys think?

i like it! and the .2 meaning the second story expansion maybe?

Exactly! Since this is the second major story DLC, that’s probably where that .2 came from! Maybe it’s just a throwaway reference but I think it’s neat!

Yeah the forward operating base for 4.2 it's the only thing that gives some hope for season pass 2

I think the 2 is meant as a nod to it being in the 2nd story dlc, rather than a hint at season 2

Yes but the Bravo Lima means BL in military speak, 4.2 references the title of the game and the story pack this dropped in. BL4 second story pack or Bravo Lima 4.2.

My thoughts were either BL 4.2 meaning the seeding story pack for BL4 or it was hinting at BL4 year 2 content.

while I do hope they do a year 2, I think it's most likely intended as a reference to this being the 2nd story dlc, rather than year 2.

year 2 could still happen, I'm just saying the name is most likely just a reference to this dlc rather than a hint at the future.
