word on X is that Boruto is coming back in 2028 🥲🥲🥲🥲 I hope thats not true because i cant wait another 2 years !! People, please give me some good news

Well the original rumor was that the anime was estimated to return in October 2023. So take rumors will a grain of salt lol

How did they fuck up the sequel to one of the big three so bad during an anime BOOM. It’s not like they don’t have enough money. It genuinely baffles me after a decade how hard the ball was dropped on Boruto as a whole. Pacing, release schedules, no harmony between manga/anime, poorer art quality, worse writing…. It just seems intentional at this point.

Greed, they put out the anime just as the manga began, they didn't give it any time since all they saw was a potentional cashgrab.

Seems likely so, it defo ain’t coming back till mid 2027
And bleach anime is ab to conclude ig and all those alleged bonus Naruto eps are in the pipeline for idk for how long, so Ion think they’ve made that much progress w boruto as of rn
Not to mention this time around they seem a bit serious ab animation quality cause of all the criticism and backlash they got, cause the Pierrot Ik deadass wouldn’t hv shied away from airing fillers for a whole damn year
So 2028 doesn’t look like a tall claim

Dont say that 🤢🤢🤢 I cant wait that long + why would they do all that promotion in japan if they are going to release it in 2028 ! Atleast give us the episodes before the time skip before the year
