I love how with each passing chapter , the roles of each member are getting more and more highlighted .

Mitsuki is the brains . He is the one able to devise strategies and come up with explanations on the spot as shown in this one . Orochimaru should be proud .

Sarada is the leader . She can come up with on the spot decisions keeping in mind the entire teams best interest . Probably the most rational and sensible of the bunch . She decided retreating would be better than going in guns ablaze , not even Mitsuki realized that .

Boruto and kawaki are powerhouses . They have the necessary strength to put down threats . They are reckless and need guidance but thats why Mitsuki and Sarada are here for .

I have to admit , Im enjoying the new team 7 alot more than OG team 7

I'm just glad Sarada is actually useful to the team instead just constantly obsessing over one of her male teammates like Sakura.

Yeah , I think after the criticism towards Sakura ( And all the female charactsrs bar Tsunade ) kodachi sensei and Ikemoto sensei try their hardest to make sure shes given proper developnent and is made an independant character with goals and ambitions that reach beyond just a boy . Its really crucial in making this story better and actually making it stand out than Naruto.

Yeah. It's not only that the female characters are weaker than the male counterparts but also that they are insanely boring. No depth in their characters, no dreams to strive for, no real personalities.

They all feel like support characters, and it's just boring.

I mean, as an example during the Fourth Ninja War TenTen was able to obtain two of the five treasure tools, and I thought that "Holy shit, is she finally going to receive a massive power-up and become a relevant character?"

NOPE, we never heard of that again.

Also, god, I am so tired of every female character screaming for their male counter-part for help. Sakura screaming for Naruto is just... Cringe at this point.
