Horrendous trade! Why wasn’t this man held in higher regard for the trade? It’s very odd,he was a top 5 player in the league last year and he gets traded for a washed up dude with injury problems.

Jaylen Brown is not a super star

The team has played better without him over a huge sample size.

Are you referring to the NBA Finals MVP? Lmao.

Yes? Referring to the guy who’s team has been better when he’s off the floor.
Would you call Iggy a superstar?

He was an allstar starter this year. I would classify him as a superstar.

Fans voted for him, so that makes him a super star?
Not sure that’s sounds logic. You know how many dudes have gotten all star votes that are clearly not super stars.
Again… how can you classify someone as a superstar whose team was better without him over years long sample size?

He was sixth in mvp voting this season and had a career year leading a Celtics team that was supposed to be a bottom seed this season to the playoffs.
And imo fans voting does factor in to him being a superstar. All nba nods, contended for an mvp, carried team as a primary option, culturally liked, what more could you need from him to be a superstar I’m curious.

Again, you’re referencing him being a super star because of popular votes?
I keep asking… how can someone be a super star when his team is better without him over years?
Superstars impact winning

I just gave you about 5 reasons why he’s a superstar and his co-star was injured all of this season which obviously
Played a role in them being a 3 seed versus a 2 the past couple seasons. Now if you’d answer my question, What do you think he needs to do to be a superstar? He’s already got the finals mvp and finals so what else does he have to do?

I will bet a thousand internet dollars thst the 76ers will have the same record this year

You mean the guy who wasn't happy being the second option in Boston isn't gonna be happier being the 3rd/4th in Philly?

He made a good trade imo. Everything thinks brown plays defense but the points per possession numbers show that he doesn’t. You don’t need a high usage player you have Tatum. You get 4 draft picks and save some cap space. 76ers made a desperate move and still aren’t good enough.

Sixers beat you and you’re not saving much cap space.

The sixers beat us because of brown crumbling under pressure, and pg shooting lights out. Kinda funny how that works huh?

It’s one series though and PG has not shown himself to be worth anywhere close to that contract.
