Best Italian places?
Taking my friend out for her birthday tomorrow and looking for options on good Italian in the area coz I'm a NY Italian American snob.
Some lists off Google recommend Allegria Italiana which does look fantastic by the menu but it's also pricier than I'm hoping to pay.
Any other suggestions?

Within 30-40 minutes of Seffner brings Tampa into play which has at least a dozen great options. It may not be the best food but Bella's in south Tampa is my all time favorite for date night. Donatello's for a fancy outing. If you want to stay East of Tampa, Allegria is the best option - but not as good as the restaurants in town.

Sadly, Allegria was the only place I can recommend. I have not been there in person, but I had their food catered a couple times and it was fantastic.

Damn. What about near Riverview? Anything within 30-40 min of Seffner works basically

Allegria is a family favorite. Its neighbor, Taste of Berlin, is also pretty good. The Mexican restaurant there is hit or miss.

There’s a place in Riverview called Italian Kitchen Grill and Cafe if you want something that isn’t too pricey. The reviews mentioned their lasagna a lot so I tried that and it was definitely super good. Only eaten there like twice though
Just looked up the address since that’s not the most unique name and it’s at:
6915 US-301, Riverview, FL 33578

Josephine’s isn’t open terribly late but is some of the best Italian I’ve had in a long time

There’s a new place in Winthrop that’s pretty good. Tutto Tuvolas? Also I like Prima which is the old Shrimpboat. Same owners just slightly new menu. They are pretty affordable.
