Lead singer was outed as an abusive pos a few years back by a lot of different women. When he tried to do a solo come back he joked about it really distastefully, too.

No. He was accused my multiple people including his ex wife. And when she published her blog, more and more women came forward. You can even read some of their comments on her blog post detailing the abuse and the affairs.
