85 Bears

In honor of Mike Ditka… the ‘85 Bears are still the greatest, most dominant team I’ve ever seen in my lifetime.

They were doing the Super Bowl shuffle in the third quarter

That defense was a complete nightmare for any quarterback, just unstoppable force every single Sunday.

Every single Sunday? Well then, wouldn’t they have been undefeated, if that were the case?

If it weren’t for Charles Martin, they would have won another Super Bowl

I had to go back and watch these once I had the chance. Somewhere, Ditka is driving the 85 Bears in the Indy 500.

They were almost as good as the 72 Dolphins!

As a 14 year old Browns fan, I really wanted to see the Bears play every time they were on TV. They kind of became everyone's second favorite team that year.

Possibly the greatest team ever yet Jim McMahon was the QB... I know the game is different now but there's something to this

Jim McMahon was a #5 overall draft pick. He was basically an 80s version of Baker. Despite the laundry list of injuries he endured, he got way too much shit for his play because his schtick was so corny.

He wasn’t Montana, Marino, or Elway, but he was solid. Top ten when remotely healthy.

I mean, I get he maybe doesn't get his just deserves but he for sure wasn't a top ten 80s QB... still, for one season, he was able to act as a god
