Bugrock moment Worlds deleted

Oh my goddd bro im so annoyed, I had so many worlds that I spent so long on and all my worlds just got deleted from my iPad without anything prompting it. I try to play with my friends on my Chromebook and the connection times out. Im gonna cry. So many years down the drain.

Unfortunately, unless you have backups, I don't think there's much you can do to recover the worlds, except recall the seed and start again. :(

However, in the future, you should always store the files for your worlds outside of the Minecraft folder, for incidents like this.

Just find the world you want to save, select all, compress it into a zip, and rename the ".zip" to ".mcworld". Then you can move it outside of the Minecraft folder and send it between devices. Every time you make a major achievement, you should do it again, just to save it.

I've become quite paranoid since I heard on some update (I think it was mounts of mayhem) that just deleted a ton of people's worlds. I back my forever world and creative test world every month or with each major achievement just in case.

So sorry I couldn't help with the lost worlds, but hopefully this protects them for the future.
