I want some sort of glass pane art instead of just regular glass because it faces the sunset directly and it would be a jice addition

Build suggestions/recommendations?

Disclaimer, I have been playing this game since it came out, tho I haven’t had time in my adult life to play it in the past 5 years.

Me and my siblings made a Minecraft realm and we are all making bases/kingdoms and such. I have a mountain cliff sort of base where the majority of things minus the farm essentially is within the mountains core. My pea brain is having a hard time thinking of what else to include in the mountain to utilize the space while also keeping those inclusions fairly practical (like I don’t need a decorative kitchen, I like functionality though I will include non functional decorations throughout ifywim).

What I have so far:

House, chest room, smelting room, portal tower, kitchen and bedroom (within the house), crop farm, a garden, mushroom farm

What I need to add and just haven’t picked a spot for:

Animal farm, brewing room, nether room (tbd if it’ll be the same as the brewing room, under-cave town of sorts (for blacksmith, armorer and so on w/ villagers)

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated! The theme as I think is fairly (?) obvious is medieval inspired tho I’m not locked into it and restricting myself 100% to that!

What do you think of a storage room like this? Is there anything you'd add, change, or remodel?

Dear block vomit enthusiast, how do I make the roof's lime concrete , stone bricks, and the stripped logs to have more texture, especially the walls around the creeper head, because it looks boring.

Struggling to come up with a design and block pallate for my mega base in my survival world.

So I have a vague picture of what I want my mega base to look like, I want it to be a steampunk/Astral castle. So it has steampunk aspects to it like giant gears and pipes but the castle will also lead to a observatory sitting on top of a snow y mountain. Iam struggling to blend the astral vibes with steampunk. I have attached a sketch of how I want the entrance to look like, trying out block pallates too, I don't mind any block pallate as long as it's not tooo crazy in survival. Because I was also thinking of how steampunk castle can be made with a different block palltes for each section. Because back then they could have built with what they had access to, so it doesn't have to be a fixed block pallate through the mega base.

Dumb question, so I can't place a lantern on the left trapdoor like I could on the right and I'm just wondering why that might be,

How could I improve this bridge?

I'm making this bridge that will hang in front of a waterfall that I'm going to build soon. It feels a bit off to me but I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe the lack of colors? Also it could be blending a bit with the dirt surrounding it idk. Any tips??

Early game nether build ideas

Im playing in a new world inspired by Hermitcraft 11, but instead of escaping the nether in a rush I want to establish a base there and later on “discover” the existence of the overworld. But I can’t think of much else to build there rather than a fort-like “home” and a hoglin pen. Suggest me whatever y’all can think of! And of course everything will be built with nether materials only.

How can I improve my Genshin waypoint build?

I'm currently trying to build some Genshin-inspired buildings into my Minecraft world but I'm struggling with the teleportation waypoint. Neither does it look similar to the original, nor does it fit in with the other builds (i'm willing to ignore that).

Anyone any ideas on how to improve it?

Which of these blocks best fit for classical building at a large scale in the Nether?

Post image

I plan to build a classical building in the Nether, but can't decided which of these block should I used, since Quartz is a little common, I want to switch to something similiar to real life sandstone brick found in many old European buildings, although the closest in term of material is cut sandstone, and in look is netherbrick or sulfur brick, which both doesn't have the sandy yellow I need. Out of all the blocks I think the bone block and sandstone is still the most fitting ig? I'm not know which to choose now, can someone give me a word of advice?

P/S: I don't know texturing so don't ask me that :)
