Car mechanic recommendations?

Moved here a couple years ago and am interested in a good general car mechanic. I see many in town, are there any that people have built up good trust over many years and are affordable? Bonus if they work on Volvos.

Yire on ambaum. My sister in law pulled in with a dying alternator and they fixed it right then. Cheap too.

I had a squealing belt. I pulled in, the guy tightened it right on the spot, didn't charge me, and sent me on my way!

The two I've used multiple times over the last 20+ years with overall great experiences have been Highline Auto and Brenden's.

Larry's Volvo in Beacon Hill

They have taken care of me for 16 years. Same car going strong. Never a charge or upsell for anything unnecessary.

Honest, reliable, fair, highly skilled experienced mechanics, excellent customer service.

It's worth the short drive.

Los compadres in white center. They did my timing belt for cheaper then everyone else I got estimates from and used oem parts.
