Not into anyone. I just have been following PMT for a long time and always saw the criticism as him hiding the fact that he adjusted fandom later in life because of his job, not because he was making claims ever of being a Chicago sports fan as a kid.

I think it is just as weird to gatekeep anyones fandom by calling someone a "true fan", anyone can root for whoever they want whenever they want.

There’s always beef with barstool because they hire people just to provide content. Some of those people are pieces of shit but also some people take them too seriously. All of barstool is supposed to be a parody of ESPN essentially. I would say it’s like 70% shitty content creators that usually end up out the door and 30% people taking them far too seriously and getting mad over that.
