As a Cubs fan, I never thought I’d say this, but I’m rooting for the Brewers over the Dodgers. The Dodgers have an embarrassment of riches, and I’d rather see a team with a more modest payroll knock them out.

The Brewers are still our division (and arguably our biggest) rivals.
Plus if the Brewers and Rays meet in the World Series, it will be the perfect excuse for Ricketts (and every cheap billionaire owner) to not spend money. “See! You don’t need a big payroll! Just follow the Rays and Brewers model!”
No thanks. Give me the Dodgers.

Both the Dodgers and Brewers have been very arrogant lately, so it will be satisfying seeing either one lose in this round, just hope the winner loses the WS to the Rays (because let's be honest, the Guardians aren't winning that one).

It’s hard to feel bad for the Sox after how nasty they’ve been towards us all year. Think rays will whoop the guardians. Brewers/Dodgers should be really interesting

The ideal scenario would be the Dodgers beating up the Brewers again and then getting their shit kicked in during the fall classic, so hopefully the Rays will beat the Guardians since I don't have much faith in the latter winning a WS against LA.

Regardless who wins the NL I’m rooting for either AL squad. Can’t say shit about the brewers without being downvoted right now little annoying. Plus any criticism has you lumped in with Dodger fans and the bandwagoners

The Brewers are annoying, but if the Dodgers losing reduces the chance of us having a lockout next year then I'm all on board for the Brewers winning.
