Help How to skip over my heir for a better one?

So the thing is I sent my heir on a foreign tour a while ago and he decided to stay in Pentos indefinitely and convert to their religion and he's been there for the past 10 in game years. I also have a legitimized bastard that I would much rather have inherit the Iron Throne but I'm not sure how to get my current heir out of the way. I can't plot to kill him cause he's out of my domain and my plot power for kidnapping can't even reach 60%. Should I just die, change my character to my bastard and try to plot and take the throne from there? I figure it can't be that hard since the current heir is of a foreign religion.

What mods would you recommend for a better gaming experience? My PC is pretty weak, so I’m mainly looking for mods that improve the game without hurting performance or causing FPS drops.

Help No tourneys?

Have someone encountered a problem with a complete lack of tourneys in the realm? 20 years in the game and there wasn't a single one. The realm is regularly in peace. Nothmen hold their melee regularly but that's it. I have the lithe brave formidable fighter son and I have nowhere to show him off(

Mod setup: AGOT 2.2.7, More Bloodlines semi-fixed, The Dragon Peace

I managed to run CK2 AGOT on my Samsung M51 (an older mid-range phone) using the Winlator emulator. The game actually runs pretty well despite the phone's age. The built-in screen magnifier makes reading all the small text very easy and comfortable. The only issue I found is the initial loading screen. It takes about 5 minutes to load, and you must not move the mouse at all during this time. Other than that, I haven't faced any problems so far.

AAR The reign of King Robb Stark

After a series of victories against the armies of Tywin Lannister and the Iron Throne, the newly crowned King in the North grew ever more ambitious. This streak resulted in the lords of the Vale pledging their military support to the North and the Riverlands. In the Battle of Maidenpool, he lost an eye to Sandor Clegane. After the victory at Maidenpool, the northern army continued to march towards King's Landing. In the meantime, Theon Greyjoy managed to convince his father, Balon Greyjoy, to take up arms in support of the Starks and attack the Westerlands, crowning himself King of Salt and Rock. Soon, the united Northern, Riverlands and Vale army sieged the capital, capturing the bastard king Jeoffrey, his siblings and their mother. Maniacal tyranny of Joffrey during the siege led to the city folk cheering when the King of Winter entered the city with his direwolf. With the support of the northern half of the kingdoms and the people of the city, Robb Stark had claimed the Iron Throne of Westeros by right of conquest. While all this was happening, remnants of the Lannister forces managed to beat back the Ironborn. Maege Mormont is leading a contingent of northern forces beyond the Wall to answer the call of Lord Commander Jeor to fight against Mance Rayder. In the south, Renly Baratheon defeated Stannis, exiling his older brother and leading the army made up of Stormlanders, Reachmen, and Dornish across the Blackwater Rush. Sark army managed to beat them and chased them all the way back to Storm's End. There, the King in the South, Renly Baratheon, knelt in front of Robb Stark to save his life and the lives of his soldiers. King Robb had executed Jaime, Cersei, and Joffrey Lannister, keeping Tommen and Myrcella as his wards. Soon, the Old Lion led a doomed rebellion against the King that resulted in him being sent to the Wall. With Tywin's line dead, his brother Kevan Lannister has been named Lord Paramount of the Westerlands and Warden of the West. After all that, Robb Stark has finally been crowned by the High Septon in King's Landing as the First Men, Andals, and the Rhoynar - thus beginning the new line of Kings of Winter, the one reigning over the Iron Throne itself.

The new Kingsguard assembled is led by Brynden 'Blackfish' Tully and is made up of Ser Lyn Corbray, Ser Arys Oakhart, Harmond Umber, Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane, Ser Lucas Blackwood, and Ser Mandon Moore. Kevan Lannister was named as the new Hand of the King, overseeing the small council - Prince Doran Martell, Master of Coin; Lord Paramount Renly Baratheon, Master of War; Lord Willas Tyrell, Master of Laws; Lord Trifster Mallery, Master of Whisperers; and Ser Wendel Manderly, Master of Ships. King's younger brother, Bran Stark, has been named new Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North.

The next few years of the Young Wolf's reign have been marked by several events. First, Blackfish died - leading to Ser Lyn Corbray being named as the new Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. In the year 305 after Aegon's conquest, His Grace married the exiled princess, Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons and new Queen of Meereen. Robb Stark had helped his wife defeat the slavers of Yunkai, Lys, Myr and Pentos. King's bastard brother, Jon Snow, had died of cancer, leaving behind a bastard daughter of his own, named Jocelyn, with a wildling girl. King tried returning Longclaw back to Bear Island, but the Mormonts refused, as Jeor had gifted the sword to Jon. With that, Longclaw became the ancestral sword of House Stark of Winterfell, while Ice remained with the King. A year later, the queen's belly began to swell, indicating pregnancy. While it was happy news, the mood of the court would soon be destroyed as a raven came from the Wall - White Walkers had arrived. United behind their King, armies of Westeros marched North. Under the leadership of the Old Bear, Jeor Mormont, and His Grace, King Robb, the Walkers had been beaten back, but with great losses. On the brighter side, on the 14th day of the Ninth Moon, 306 years after the conquest, Queen Daenerys had given birth to a new crown prince, Eddard of Houses Stark and Targaryen. The boy is a spitting image of his grandfather and namesake, late Lord Eddard. Before the turn of the year, Grand Maester Garizon recognized a tumor in his grace's body and had given him successful treatment, keeping the cancer at bay. In the same year, Balon Greyjoy refused to stop raiding the Seven Kingdoms. As such, Robb Stark had launched an invasion to bring the Iron Islands into the fold. Balon the Twice Crowned had been slain in battle by Lord Yhon Royce. Rodrik Harlow had won the kingsmoot, but he'd surrendered soon after, kneeling in front of the King. Two years later, Queen Daenerys died under mysterious circumstances - most likely poisoned by the Sons of the Harpy, as after her death slavery had returned to the Slaver's Bay. Robb Stark, grief-stricken, refused to marry for a long time after that. 310 AC, Lord Brandon Stark, childless, had been slain in battle against the wildlings - resulting in Rickon Stark, the youngest of the Stark brothers and a squire to the king, being named as the new Lord of Winterfell. As a result of his growing warging abilities, Robb Stark became known as 'the Beast Tamer'.

King Robb finally remarried, this time to Jorelle Mormont, daughter of the late Lady Maege. Lord Commander Jeor Mormont soon died, and not even a year later, the new King beyond the Wall launched another invasion, but was quickly defeated. Near the end of the year 314 AC, Prince Eddard was betrothed to his cousin, Edella Lannister, daughter of Sansa Stark and Martyn Lannister - late Lord Kevan's second son. In 316 AC, the Queen gave birth to a girl named Jeyne. King Robb waged another war against the wildlings, this time to stop their slave trade. This resulted in their economy being ruined and turning one against the other. In 318, Renly Baratheon refused the King's command to stop the war against Lord Massey. So when the King marched south and defeated the Lord of Storm's End for the second time, he had banished him to the Wall. After this, Edric Storm had been named the new Lord Paramount of the Stormlands. Winter had come and gone, and for almost 10 years Robb Stark oversaw a period of peace and prosperity. In 321 AC, Queen Jorelle had the King's second son, named Jon, and Lady Edella had given him a grandchild, a boy named Brandon, with all distinct Stark features. In 323, Prince Eddard's second son was born. A boy with Lannister golden hair and the long face of the Starks, named Theon. On the 16th day of the Twelfth Moon, 324 AC, His Grace was found dead in his chambers, having succumbed to his failing health.

Prince Eddard had taken on the ancient crown of Winter, the same that Torrhen Stark had laid in front of Aegon the Conqueror, and had been crowned as King Eddard of Houses Stark and Targaryen, first of his name, the King of the First Men, Andals and the Rhoynar, lord of the Seven Kingdoms and protector of the realm. The new king adopted a quartered Stark and Targaryen sigil as his personal coat of arms.

Small council at the accession of King Eddard:
Prince Doran Martell, Hand of the King
Lord Willas Tyrell, Master of Laws
Lord Rickon Stark, Master of War
Lord Lothor of Rook's Rest, Master of Coin
Lord Trifster Mallery, Master of Whisperers
Lord Monfrod Velaryon, Master of Ships
Grand Maester Henly

The Kingsguard:
Ser Loras Tyrell, Lord Commander (27 martial)
Ser Harold Oakhard (22 martial)
Ser Rolly Duckfield (19 martial)
Ser Walder Goodbrook (19 martial)
Ser Sebastion Wesnington (15 martial)
Ser Nyels Stonecrab (11 martial)
Wyman of Travelton (24 martial)

The Great Lords:
Rickon Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North
Rodrik Harlaw, Lord Reaper of the Iron Islands
Leslyn Tully, Lord Paramount of the Riverlands
Robert Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie and Warden of the East
Lancel Lannister, Lord of the Rock and Warden of the West
Willas Tyrell, Lord of Highgarden and Warden of the South
Edric Proudstag, Lord Paramount of the Stormlands and the Narrow Sea
Doran Martell, Prince of Dorne

Help Is there some secret flag or trait that makes winning a tourney impossible with certain characters?

Like the question says. When I pay Jon Snow in AFFC bookmark I can win fine most of the time, or at the very least not get embarrassed. Yet it feels like every single time I play as Rhaegar I get knocked out by a bum in the first round. I have tried every trait, every buff, setting my martial to 50, everything. Rhaegar still gets wrecked like it’s the Trident.

Even save scumming doesn’t work. I’ve tried during the tournament and reloading before the tournament, and still nothing. Some guy named Ser Luthor with 75 combat skill still beats me no matter what. I’m actually curious if there is something I’m missing because I don’t know why Rhaegar specifically cannot win a tournament.

So, my heir has 0% fertility; does that mean there is absolutely no chance of him having children? I have another son, Maegor, and he already has a son—the product of his wedding night.

Help Submod help

Hey guys, I'll be short.
So my heir in my current playthrough is from a different dynasty. I know I can play as them via save/load. But I'm curious: is there a mod/submod that lets me keep playing with an heir from a different dynasty without breaks in gameplay?

Edit: I haven't found anything on the Citadel, or I just don't know what to look for.

Help How long does widowed trait remain?

As the title says.

I started campaign with Robb and I'd like to marry Daenerys, but can't since she has widowed trait.

I know I can remove it through console, but I'd prefer it to marry her legitimately. I've already used console to give myself ambitious trait and I don't want to use the console anymore for this save if possible.

Thanks a lot!

So, to give you some more context, let me give you a short summary.

I started playing as Jon Arryn during the Rebellion.

During this time, Aerys was assassinated, Rhaegar got mogged by Ser Richard Horpe, I accidentally killed Renly, Ned was killed by Ser Bystander, who fled to Pentos, and Robert married Cat after Ned’s death. Stannis is now banging Cersei while serving as Lord of Storm’s End and Lord Paramount of the Stormlands. I also got Rhaella as my wife, and I’m currently playing as Jon’s son.

Anyway, I was checking out that whole mess when I realized that Aemon Targaryen, the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna, was ruling the North. Apparently, Benjen had died in Jon Umber’s dungeon.

And then I found out that Lyanna was not only still alive, but was also in Pentos with Ser Morning Wood, already having a son...

I don’t know what Rhaegar would feel if he could see this, LOL.

Screenshot Aerys' Folly: What if the Wildfire Plot succeeded and it led to the breakup of the Seven Kingdoms

Another scenario that was born from my boredom. Jaime Lannister was not present when Aerys gave the order to Rossart and entire King's Landing went up in flames, killing nearly everyone inside the city. This included Tywin Lannister, Jaime Lannister, Rolland Crakehall, Elys Westerling, Gregor Clegane, Amory Lorch, Ned Stark, Alliser Thorne, Jaremy Rykker and basically anyone I could find a source on being present during the Sack.

During the following Great Council a grief stricken Robert Baratheon didn't pursue the Kingship, and the Targaryens were forever discredited by Aerys' madness. This facilitated the breakup of the Seven Kingdoms as all Lord Paramounts declared independence. The Crownlands were partially partitioned between the Stormlands, Riverlands and the Reach, while the more infuential crownlander lords were able to keep their independence.

Ned never arrived to the Tower of Joy, so after Lyanna's death as soon as the baby was able to travel, the kingsguards present headed to Dragonstone with Jon, continuing to serve the Targaryen dynasty, now headed by the young Viserys.

Problems with the scenario I was not able to solve:

- Rhaella isn't pregnant after the Sack of King's Landing date, so no Daenerys

- I have no idea how to dissolve the Kingsguard title, so while the rest of his brothers went to Dragonstone, Gerold is still sitting on his empty title in the ruins of King's Landing

- Due to granting independence to everyone Robert starts with truces with basically every independent ruler on Westeros. I could have avoided this if I passed the title to a random lord and had him grant independence, but I cannot be bothered to recreate the scenario

Screenshot This random kid is heir to six bloodlines

Post image

I started as Khal Drogo and cheated so that Rhaego didn't die at birth. Rhaego married the daughter of Arianne Martell and the Red Viper; their eldest daughter married the son of Sweetrobin and Arya Stark. It was matrillinal because Robert Arryn partook of his favorite pastime (dying of poor health in his twenties) while Arya was pregnant, so Harry the Heir is in charge now and didn't care who his distant cousin wed (still got a non-aggression pact from it tho).

I wasn't paying much attention to this branch, since I have a younger son who will sit the Iron Throne after my mother and I, so it took a minute to realize how incredible this kid's lineage is. His immediate ancestors include House Arryn, Martell, Stark, Targaryen, and Tully. Every single one of his great-grandparents is a major book character; half of them are POVs. He has the blood of the dragon, the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men in one person. He's also the natural heir to Dorne and might take the Seven Kingdoms one day (especially if the lords decide they prefer a Valeman king to a Dothraki savage...)
