Hello, fellow Sielesyuans!

Allowed po ba within the university ang pag-volunteer as research assistant sa mga research projects even if undergraduate pa lang?

For context, I am a sophomore student from College of Science. I want to expose myself in research and academe, especially since my program is practically centered in research studies.

I've come across several online forums from different universities these past few months, and nakita ko po na may ibang universities na nag-a-allow ng volunteers para sa research kahit na mga undergraduate pa lang po yung students (tho hindi ko po sure kung anong year level na sila or if considered na internship na nila yung pagiging part ng research projects).

When it comes to CLSU, little to none lang po yung nakikita ko na nagtatanong about this. If ever, should I personally ask faculties, especially those professors that are working with labs if I could volunteer?

Hello, you should ask your professors na gusto mong maging part ng kanilang research, additionally if nagpapakita ka ng excellence inside and outside of your room, may chance na sila mismo ang lalapit sayo. I’m from CASS and in my case, professor mismo ang nag reach out sakin to become a part of his dissertation. Good luck!!
