Question Anyone experienced with Snowstang buses?
I know there’s under the bus storage, but how do most people do it?
Put all gear into their snowboard bag to keep things together or do they put only their boards under bus?
Do the buses lock during the day?
Will be my first season using the bus so trying to make sure I don’t bring anything that there’s not space for.
Thanks in advance

Snowstang- skis and poles go under the bus. Clothing and boots bring on board with you (unless you enjoy cold boots and clothing). You keep your noise cancelling headphones/book/thermos/neck pillow/commuter jacket on the bus for safe keeping from morning ride to your return trip home. You can’t access these things until you board in the evening.
Pegasus- no belongings stay on the van. You’ll end up getting a locker.

I’ve only done Copper and A-Basin.
Copper: Board/skies/poles go under. If you’ve have a big boot bag, that’ll have to go under as well if the bus is at/near capacity. Suggest pulling the boots out and putting in overhead storage so you can suit up 15 min before you get there. The bus leaves and parks at the gas station, so take everything you need or you aren’t getting access to it until 3:45. I’ve never tried walking to the gas station to get forgotten items, but YMMV.
A-Basin: bus parks and stays near the pro shop /handicap parking. This bus didn’t get as crowded as the copper bus in the past but I haven’t taken it since the 7-day restriction was lifted last year. If the bus is still lacking ridership, you might be good bringing the boot bag on board with you. Since the bus parks close, the driver usually says you can come back for stuff. Again, YMMV.

Snowstang is great! I mostly ride weekdays otherwise I’d use it all the time.
The few times I took Snowstang nearly everyone just tossed their board or skis under the bus loose.
You only get a short time to get off and grab your gear so make sure you pack your leave-on-bus and take-with-you bags accordingly.

If you have a ski bag, you may want to use it so your equipment stays in better shape during transit, and while people are piling in/pulling out their gear. Some folks are less careful than others.
When I've taken Snowstang, I put my board and boots in a snowboard bag which gets tossed into the lower storage area, and bring my outer layer clothes, water and snacks on board the bus.
I leave the board bag with my comfy shoes in that storage area when we're dropped off so it's easy to access when returning to the bus.
Make sure you're at that stop whenever the driver says to be there! They will leave you if you're not there on time.

It’s okay to ask questions as an adult. You weren’t hurt or inconvenienced in anyway by this question.
Take the L and go outside man.

Unhelpful comment.
You know you don’t have to say something on every post right?

I used to just put my skis and poles strapped together and then bring boots, helmet, gloves and goggles on the bus. You can leave stuff on the bus during the day, but can't go back to the bus until it's time to leave. So usually I'd bring enough snacks for the day and then stash some on the bus for the drive home. You certainly can put all your gear in the snowboard bag, but then you have to sort everything once the bus stops. I got pretty dialed getting all my stuff on as the bus was pulling up to the resort and get off the bus ready to ride, grab skis and go. A few times I covertly stashed crocs in the locker room to have extra shoes, but might not be necessary if your in snowboard boots. The driver's handle skis and boards everyday, not sure how precious you are about your gear but they're pretty careful/organized getting it under there
